"Sister Calendula!" I look up from my reading and see Sister Cotula, the youngest sister, storm into my quarters. I sigh, sitting the book down.
"Cotula, next time you need me, knock," I stand up, walking towards the window, frowning at the dark sky and the pouring rain. "You don't need to barge into my quarters." Sister Cotula points to the entrance of the church.
"There's a stranger outside, in the rain," She says, grabbing my hand and leading me to the door, opening it. Standing outside, in a sodden cloak, is a stranger. Sister Cotula gives me a pleading look. "Can we give him shelter?" She pleads, and I sigh.
"Fine. Let the stranger in." Sister Cotula grins, grabbing the stranger's hand, and pulling him into the church. I glance at his hand, staring at the dull green scales that covered it.
"Strange...A dragon in human form?" I ponder, watching as Sister Cotula chatters excitedly to the stranger, leading him to one of our empty rooms. I watch the tip of his tail, peeking out from under the edge of his long cloak, sway as he listens to Sister Cotula talk about a stray cat she saw the day before.337Please respect copyright.PENANAHrtvbeWeok
"Couldn't be. Dragons don't have human forms, do they?" I frown at this thought, wondering about the identity of this cloaked stranger.337Please respect copyright.PENANA7dMFqzwisk
