I met my destiny.

Or did I?

That sunny day was just the 20th day

Of a hundred-day school vacation.

And from there on,

Our paths never crossed again.

Time had passed.

It went so fast.

But I still felt the same,

Something I needed to find.

It was day 100,

I eliminated some answers in my mind.

It was a starry night.

The fireworks was set to light up.

Looking to the bright moon above,

My thoughts started to flash again.

"If this is true,

Give me one more chance.

Just a little more.

I want to see her again."

I closed my eyes,

As the flares sent a resounding screech.

Then, the end came.

The streets continued to be emptied.

Perhaps I was a total idiot,

Thinking I was a hero of some romantic movie.

Without any more hesitance,

I was on my way home.

Kicking some pebbles along the way,

"Maybe my love story was a total mess."

Along those lines,

My mind was full of unexplained emotions.

I reached our home.

I fell asleep.

Tomorrow would be the first day of school.

Whatever awaits me out there,

I don't know.

Nope.

I don't want to know.
