Are you afraid to someone who pulls triggers?
Naturally, we are.
A robber. The one who robbed a jewelry store last week because he wanted money. Someone who pointed a gun to an innocent teller. It had caused fear for everyone in that scene because he might pull the trigger. Later on, the alarm sounded throughout.
We do not know his reasons nor his intentions. He may have some hidden motives or just pure evil plans. But no one cares, he is a criminal.
This would not be easy. The looter took someone as a hostage. He grabbed her and shielded himself. The gun was on a point blank range. Moments had passed, the police came. This would be an operation for arresting the stealer, but they were already late.
A gunshot had been fired. Blood gradually dropped on the floor. It was the blood of the thief. Events had turned around. The circumstances favored the hostage. She pulled the trigger.
Now, who would you blame for the lost life? Is it the robber turned victim? The hostage who defended herself? Or the police who came afterwards?
Neither of them. Not the one who wanted to pull the trigger nor the one who pulled the trigger.
The one to blame is the one who pulls the strings. The people behind who let this to happen. Theoretically, there would be no wasted life if there would be no wasted coins. But in this society we are in right now, we have enough of those theories. What we want is something concrete, something genuine.
If that someone who pulls the strings is worse than someone who pulls the trigger, then someone has to be the worst.
The one who pulls both.
