“Contestants..” 904Please respect copyright.PENANAbcpb6dJlMw
A low rumble of a so-called whisper echoed throughout the round of static holograms of ‘contestants’. “Are you ready to begin?” the Lord of Time, Deus Ex Machina, pursued. The few nodded cautiously, patiently awaiting the arrival of their main weapons: their Future Diaries.
A colossal goal was set. A goal that would determine the faith of the universe’s very own dependant soul. To reach that goal, the Platform of God, contestants were chosen carefully, based on their agility, their flexibility, and most importantly, care for one another and hatred between one another, as it would increase their competition.
A bright flash of heavenly light enveloped the arena. It was indeed a stunning way to introduce the 12 Hell-bound diaries. These diaries were distributed at random, so no person would have an unfair, upper hand. The contestants couldn’t see each other as all it looked like was blurr and glitch. But Deus was clear as oxygen in the gasious state. And likewise were the Contestants to him.
”Now...” he chanted deeply, “Let the games begin...!” The command erupted and boomed through the arena, allowing each young contestant to faze back to their respective homes and families.

Contestant 1: Baron Alton
Sweat drenched the boy’s hair as he bolted up in total alarm of that nightmare he had just observed. Shaking and frantically grasping his phone to check the time, a message from his notes stood out to him. There were times written on them, current times.
Suddenly it struck him: this wasn’t a nightmare at all... No - it was something WAY worse. He was at a loss for words; what had he ever done to deserve this?! Why was he chosen to participate in this!? Nonetheless, he tried to hide it as best he could, stuffing his books in his bag and keeping his phone within a book.

Contestant 2 : Candice Evergreen
Near emotionless, the dark humoured girl sat up from her bed, making her way over to her desk where she had been studying the previous night. Her cork board held various pictures of whom she classified to be the BEST and ONLY ONE: Baron Alton.
People would taunt her; call her weird. She didn’t care. All she cared about was him. She packed up, letting a small sigh escape her lips, “Oh Baron..When will you ever notice me?” She hummed with a hair-tie in her mouth as she bunched up her raven locks in a neat ponytail with her bangs down. Suddenly, her phone sounded:
’8:00AM:
Baron Alton is sitting with Cleo Ashe and talking’
NO. HE’S MINE. AND MINE ALONE.

Contestant 3: Daniel Allen
Already awake, the curly-haired boy leaned further back into his swivel chair, spinning the specially designed scissors in his hand. Why special? Oh, that’s mainly because he had sharpened them to the point you could call them knives. A sadistic grin played at his lips as he constantly checked his phone.
Restless, finally a response came: his target - Baron Alton and Candice Evergreen. The evil glint in his chocolate eyes shone brightly, yes, he was going to take the first initiative in this game and HE was going to triumph.

Contestant 4 : Reine Lao
Yawning, she stretched her arms and smiled lazily, gazing out into nothingness, but falling straight back down to earth as she heard a familiar call from her phone. She dismissed it at first, thinking it was just another alarm; she did live nearby anyway so it wouldn’t be a problem if she was late.
But the deafening ring echoed through her room. Unable to stand it anymore, she stomped over to shut it off; only to realise that it wasn’t an alarm for waking up; rather, a danger alert for something that would happen in their school today.

Contestant 5: Cleo Ashe
The bright and chirpy girl stared seemingly innocently into her phone, scrolling through photos and giggling quietly. Little did anyone know is that she was actually viewing her own diary. Sadly, hers only showed itself three times a day.
She had to remember what would happen, so she carefully studied it, thinking to herself on how to remove each pest that came to her today. She saw a small drawing of a boy and her sitting at this very bench, then a girl coming up to them. Then it stopped.

Contestant 6 : Sanae Onen
Bathing in her own ego and glory she stood. The eyes of all her admirers was what helped her foresee her future. Let me explain: her admirers see lots of things - a lot of eyes means a lot of views. Those views go straight to her phone. How? Oh, via social media of course.
Facebook, Instagram, and so on; any type that allowed her to view videos from her admirers would be enough. She wouldn’t need to move and so could refrain from getting caught in sticky situations. Plus, it wasn’t that she wanted to gain so much attention, she couldn’t help being so perfect in every way, now, could she?

Contestant 7 : Kamuro Mai & Semuro Mai
”A NEW DAY!!!!” The twins shot up together. They both made up Contestant 7 with their exchange diaries. The twins were extremely close; they were just like the right and left hands; almost not being able to function at all without the other.
Kamuro’s diary had the ability to predict the upcoming disasters for his brother while Semuro could locate Kamuro from anywhere he pleased, and also read about his brother himself.

Contestant 8 : Nico Ashley
Ah, Nico Nico. Like Alton, she didn’t want to fight either. She just wanted to win so that she could provide a better life for her family, who were in deep debt at the moment. She figured if she became God then she could provide for them.
She didn’t even hold a diary herself, but she held the knowledge to make diaries, handing them out to less fortunate kids who were not meant to be in competition. She monitored them in case, from her tablet. But if they were out of range then she couldn’t read them.

Contestant 9 : Alfred Camin
The quiet boy always considered himself an introvert. That’s why he had obtained a diary that helped him find quick routes to escape public places without suspicion or acknowledgement.
He didn’t like company of many, let alone even one person. He disliked it a lot. So much so that 'despise' would be the appropriate phrase to put it. He’d never spoken aloud about it and his shyness might be a reason why.

Contestant 10 : Pierce Palven
The tall girl loved wolves. When she was young, she ventured into the woods and had found a stray pup near the foot of the forest. It was bloody and panted heavily. The girl ran back to her house, grabbed a towel and ran back to fetch the pup. She brought it into the woods to a nearby river. As she was washing off the poor creature, a howl rang through her ears.
The whole wolf family had found her with THEIR bleeding pup! Her face flashed bravery as she stood up and faced the wolves. Using her phone she pointed at them. “SIT,” she commanded. Whimpers could be heard as the wolves dropped their heads. “That’s better,” she hummed as she brought her pack back home and headed off to school.

Contestant 11 : Navine Anon
Navine was a genius. He worked for as long as he could on making more and more diaries. He hadn’t given any out and had also managed to hack into diaries around his area. The only downfall that he had was that if there was a person with no diary in the premises, he wouldn’t be able to locate them.
His tracker was one-of-a-kind. It was extremely powerful but he believed that there was still perfection needed within the deathly device. Like always.

Contestant 12 : Shin Atsuki (Yangire-Chan don’t you dare say anything 😂)
A loud THUD bounced through the walls in his room. What happened, you may ask. Nothing major. He had just fallen down. You see, Shin is extremely short-sighted. He’s in fact close to being blind so he needed his glasses with him at all times.
However, since he had a bit of a visual disability, the dark haired male had found out how to work his way around with sound, which earned him the Justice diary, a small microphone within his phone that allowed him not only to hear and listen in on conversations from afar but also create illusions and hallucinations from it.904Please respect copyright.PENANAAzv2Fzvkoz
