After the previous incident, the group had split. Not it being by everyone’s choice but by the majority instead. The Mai Twins had heard about it, and Kamuro had wanted the group to remain, but alas only Baron and he himself had voted for such in the group of 6.
Time was quickly passing, but Candice managed to keep both herself and her prisoned love calm during the whole event. The pair currently sat competitively, battling each other through video games. “Hah! I won again!” The brunette gleamed, he was both prideful and excited that, yet again he had destroyed his girlfriend’s character within the technological world.
Candice wasn’t upset, in fact, she was just happy to see him praise himself. She couldn’t help it really, something about him had gotten her hooked; and just like a drug—she couldn’t stop herself. Would you call it love? Or would you rather say it’s an unhealthy obsession? Either way, the answer of those questions to her would be the same. Yes or no, she would see no difference.

Lunch went by like a breeze and there the two killers laid, stomach down on Baron’s bed. Candice spoke up, “Hey..Love?” She peeped, glasses gazed up from his phone, eyes darting to and from his previous actions and his delirious girlfriend. He nodded briefly, showing his acknowledgment to his Amor [Love].
“What is it Candi?” A screeching pause bounced around the room while the query was spat out, “Do..you..do you want to be God?” A train chugged it’s way past the young girl’s mind as she listened attentively and clearly interested. Her Senpai took a breath as he peered into an abyss of what seemed like boring and random swirls of daydreams and thoughts.
“Eh, I suppose so?” He concluded, if he was being honest he didn’t want to rule a universe in which he knew he had slaughtered those of whom would probably be innocent if the whole game didn’t exist in the first place. But alas, there they stood, the remaining eight, and they hadn’t even seen 2 of them yet!
He hadn’t even realised he was so frustrated until he noticed his stalker gazing at him with a tilted head and squinted lines for eyes. “I—uh, need to go get someth—“ “No, stay.” The girl he always pictured as childish and juvenile had just morphed into a horror being of something he would actually call serious and stoic?? Surely he was dreaming. Surely. However the wrist-crunching grip his ‘admirer’ had on his hand was telling him otherwise.
”Candice?” Chocolate eyes burned straight into black orbs as his lovely and pure critter of an angel smiled a bit towards him. “Yes hun?” Her voice was like a wind chime, beautiful but unpredictable. “I need to go do—something.” Words cowered within his throat as he tried to choke out an excuse to escape the suffocating pressure called tension surrounding them.
”Can I follow?” The young devil persuaded, her voice in a sing-song tune. She craved the attention from her shrine-person, he was like a God to her, in fact; she would do all in her power to make sure her love is the one who become Deus’s replacement. This went on for awhile now, requests to join the journey and rejects were tossed back and forth between the two, and now Baron was loosing patience.

”JUST LEAVE ME ALONE CANDICE EVERGREEN!” The boy snapped, he was fuming, smoke evaporated from his ears as he glared at the terrified girl like how a bull would stare bullet holes through a red cloth. Candice on the other hand was scared, she had never EVER heard him scream before, let alone hear him use her full name. Waves of guilt from the sea of disappointment crashed down.
