Natilie kneeled before Nico, hands clenched in loose fists pressing on her knees, keeping her balanced. Nico was typing away at her computer, Natalie had requested for the infamous ‘Future Diary’ and more information regarding the topic. Nico was happy to help, she did want a good life for her friends, but she wasnt planning on making them reborns.
The room was in a perfect balance between the silence and mere tapping sounds emitting from the dark-skinned girl’s keyboard. The continuous clicks were actually soothing to Natalie; the skinny girl was so tense, even the lightest of ASMR could relax her. A knock at the door boomed her back to her near-paralysed tensed state.
The Mai Twins?

”Kamuro? Semuro?” Natalie tilted her head, leaving her ash-coloured ponytail to dangle and sway. The two opposites met her wary stare. Kamuro took a step forward to the cautious girl, observing closely as she took a step back; eyes glued to his.
“Hey, we wont do anything.” Semuro piped up, bouncing with energy on his tip toes. His pale brother was far too tall for him to even see over his shoulder, so he had to jump to do so. “For some reason I dont trust you.” Being brutally honest was one of Natalie’s specialties, she even took pride in it.
“Now guys..” Nico’s near silent voice echoed through the room, acting like garden shears cutting through a hedge of thick tension. All eyes landed on her petite figure. “I-Ive finished the diary for Natalie...” The girl mentioned nodded, taking a step forward to view her new weapon.
“Its just an Apprentice Diary, nothing much...” she shrugged, but Natalie smiled at her warmly, “It’s okay, it’s more than enough.” She reassured her. A cough erupted between them, “Uh— sorry to disturb your bonding but we came to discuss a plan. Nat, you in?” Kamuro chimed.
“Okay..?” So that was that. The plan was carefully thought out, and it was decided on going the passive route. Maybe they could bring the old Baron back? Maybe they could make him sane again? Maybe they could get rid of Evergreen first? Ideas circulated through the quadret, Natalie bringing up the harsh consequences of each if they were to fail.

Finally, a clear and somewhat safe route was discovered. The main idea was to kill off Candice first. Natalie agreed to take up the offer; despite Nico’s protests, as the fair-skinned ravenette came to a conclusion that it would be better that Nico and the others try to make Baron switch sides as they know him better.
She packed some supplies that Nico had leant her and shoved them into a duffle bag which she slung over her thin shoulders. After the whole ordeal, Kamuro, Semuro and Nico will run after Alton and beg him to change his mind. They were fixiated on trying their hardest, doing whatever it takes to bring him back to Earth.
This wasnt just about being God anymore.
The trio continued their little chat as Natalie drifted off into her alternate reality. She was back in school again, but things seemed...emptier than usual. Where was everyone? Why was she here? Crowds of rushing thoughts skimmed through her analytical mind, barely giving her time to answer any of them.
Then she saw a figure approach her, it was dres— no, it was coated in tar. The shadow lacked features, just glowing white eyes pasted on a luminous black blob. She was shocked! Stepping back, the figure grew closer...and closer....and closer....until—
“NATALIE!!!” Natalie jolted, patting her body hurriedly, “Im okay!” She sighed, the trio stareda at her weirdly, “Are you sure? We’ve been calling you for 10 minutes..” Semuro placed a hand on her forehead, no temperature which was lucky. But what had she dreamed about? What had she seen?
Well...she was going to find out soon..
