“You just like watching me suffer, don’t you?” The blue-nette groaned, struggling against her attacker’s grip. “Wow, big words for someone who is so little.” Cayo mocked, a cool tone slipping past his lips. Muffled profanities could be distinguished from Keiko, “I do enjoy it. But there is a reason why I don’t want to kill you just yet.”
“And that is what?”
Suddenly, the blonde’s tone was much more softer, a subtle pleading could be heard if you listened carefully. “Join me.” In the shorter’s dazed state, Cayo knew she wouldn’t jump at him, and gently retracted the cocked gun, still not choosing to flip on the safety. Just in case.
Keiko still faced the oak shelf, her small hand lightly reaching up to graze the smooth, dusty wood under it. “Join you?” She repeated in a more cynical tone, “You literally just tried to drill a hole through my head with a gun and now you’re saying you want me to join you.” A soft, but sarcastic laugh bounced in the room, “Who are you? Mr.John Smith?”
She turned to face him, tension building like a brick house in the room. “Well?” The Egyptian cast her a slightly worriful gaze, his hand clutching the sig in his hand, index finger playing with the trigger. “Well.” He began, a heavy melancholic tune playing in his voice, “I could shoot you right here, right now. I’m not stupid, I put a silencer on this.”
“But you’re not.”
“But I’m not.”
“Why?” The Japanese probed, “What makes me worthy of such love and care?” She taunted, not bothering to hide the annoyance in her voice, if he wanted her dead, just shoot her for God’s sake! “Because of how you choose who you kill, I like that style.” He was cut off by another puff of colourful vocabulary.
“As in, you’re able to stay hidden and since you only kill bullies, no one misses them.” Keiko stared at the ground, her patience winning over her most of her stubbornness. “Oh, Blue, look at me will you?” What did he call me?? Her head perked up at the sugar-name, looking him straight in his sky blue eyes.
“Ah there we go, now Blue, would you join me? I’ll help you and you’ll help me.” The air pondered the thought leaving more questions than answers in the ghostly dark room. “And what do I get?” Cayo inhaled languidly, “I won’t report anything to the teachers, and whichever student dare report you, will meet their fixed fate.”
Another sarcastic laugh bounced across the room,
“Sure. But if you think, for one second, you can turn against me. I will end you.”
Cayo smiled animalistically, passing his new partner a small wink.
“Wouldnt dream of it, Blue.”
