I activated my jet pack, and flew up behind him, landing on his back and placing an explosive device onto it. It exploded quickly, but the explosion did not appear to cause any damage. "I believe we've met before." The Figure responded. "But I guess I never introduced myself. My name is Zarget.” With that, he there me across the room, slamming me into the nearby wall. Zarget stomps towards me, and I slide out of the way as he attempts to kick me through a wall. With no other options, I threw all my explosives at him. As he is stopped in his tracks, I flew up and used my laser sword cut into him. I could see wires and other technologies in there, but no other organic parts. What the hell?! I launched my grapple gun, and attacked it to a part of his back, before flying back with my jetpack. He was pulled back slightly. and I heard some metal creaking, a few panels began to bend.
He grabbed the grapple gun line and flung it over his shoulder. I was suddenly flung over his shoulder. Although I was eventually able to regain control using my jetpack, the momentum was enough to smash me into the wall. The jetpack started to spark, and sputter very slightly. Zarget spun around, as I grabbed the rifle from my back, and fired thrice at Zarget, stopping him for a brief moment, until I eventually ran out of power. He then charged at me, grabbing me, and slamming me into the wall yet again, with my HUD now flashing 22.8% damage.
"Look at what they did to me." He said, his voice starting to crack a little. "They wanted a perfect soldier, so they decided to make one. They ripped me to pieces and rebuilt me. When I escaped the Regime, the Federation left me to rot. Now, I can get me vengeance!" He fired his cannon at me, at point blank., completely destroying what remained of my helmet. My HUD was slowly flickering out. Stepping towards me, Zargets helmet retracted, showing completely white, bald head, with his eyes now red.
"Why are you telling me this?" I questioned, struggling to my feet. In response, he grabbed me by the throat. "Because I feel like you don't understand." The helmet came back. "Because no one ever understands. "And I will make them see. I will make them see fear like they haven't seen for years of peacetime." He threw me again away from him, I landed in a pile of rubble and smashing even more bits of my armor. As that happened, I got a radio message from Keti that they had located me, and were heading towards my general direction. Before I could warn them away, the radio call ended. I used what remained of my jetpack to start to fly away, before being blasted again, causing my armor to go up to 30% damage.
As that happened, the hole in the ceiling which I had fallen through blasted further open. 600 Flashtroopers dropped through with their own Jetpacks. They fired at Zarget, knocking him back a bit. In response, Zarget started firing back with his cannon, taking out several of them. I dashed over to one of the bodies, grabbed some of their grenades, and started tossing them at Zarget, hitting the helmet piece again, and again, successfully destroying part of the helmet, and revealing one of his red eyes. The surviving Flashtroopers started firing at the hole in the helmet, causing him to duck down to avoid getting shot in the eye.
Suddenly, he released a massive blast of energy, taking out most of the Flashrooper, as I ducked behind some of the rubble. The remaining ones charged towards him as the blast stopped. He started beating them back, as I grabbed more grenades and started throwing them at him. he was pushed against the wall with a grenade after grenade, as I kept moving, grabbing more, and throwing them at him. Despite this, he was still able to take out most of the surrounding Flashtroopers with his cannon. Eventually, with most of the Flashtroopers dead, he returned his focus to me.
As I was almost done grabbing the last of the grenades before he charged at me. With a scream, I grabbed my Laser pistol and fired once into the hole in his helmet. Shouting, he dropped me and stumbled backward. threw all my remaining grenades at him, blowing several holes into his armor, revealing more tech, and bits of flesh. having grabbed more chips to reload my rifle, he fired at all of them, wounding him even more, and pushing him back against the wall. Groaning, he sits up one last time, before muttering one final line. "Game... Over." There was a loud beeping sound, as he collapsed to the ground. Looking over him, I saw a self destruct feature started for more minute. panicking, I activated my jetpack, and left through the hole in the ceiling, just as it exploded, knocking me to the ground, as the building began to collapse around me. I was able to struggle away, as the floor collapse in the basement below before being pinned to the ground. As I looked up, I saw transports began to spin around the Aratrum, and enter it. I tried to radio for help, but my HUD Finally failed. As I began to give up, I heard a ship land beside the collaapsed building.
