Lydia's POV
Future819Please respect copyright.PENANAlyubprJhGd
The day I was born, as a peasant, nothing more and nothing less. My father would always tell me that I was special to him, and to my mother. She worked for the king in that time, he worked her almost to death. I didn't understand her, she would come home with bruises and broken bones. But when she did come home she told me that it was life. But I never believed her one bit. Being only 12 I didn't understand the more important things in life, my father would always tell me that everything was going to be okay. We were going to eat tonight, a beautiful feast to celebrate life. And to cherish the gods for giving us this food. 819Please respect copyright.PENANAMFfweXm0eM
Every night we barely had anything to eat, when mother and father would find something they would always give the biggest piece to me. Our clothes were dirty, my father would always make me something beautiful out of the silk his boss gave him. But he never made something for mother or himself. Even if it was her birthday, he gave nothing to her or himself. Not out of hate or sorrow, but out of love for me. They wanted me to have an amazing life, far better then what they have given me from birth. 819Please respect copyright.PENANAU0Yeo8mWRy
"papa why do you not give to yourselves" I asked819Please respect copyright.PENANAAaN7bskw9O
" because your too precious my darling, we want you to be given all the love we have" he replied as he ruffled my hair819Please respect copyright.PENANAJ96NyDm5u9
It was close to my 18th birthday, my parents were working for different and better people. Well that's what they told me. As I grew older then have been forgetting to tell me about things, more important things, about me as a person. At home I figured a lot of things about me, I would walk into the desert and just practice. When I finally got the courage to show my parents they told me to never anyone outside of our house. But it was too late, someone saw me practicing one day. My parents were banished for hiding a goddess in their home. But I was no such thing.
I tried telling people I wasn't a goddess, but they just thought I was being modest. I tried telling them that I wasn't a goddess and that they should let my parents come back. But they didn't listen to me. It seemed forever until I told them to bring my parents back, they finally brought them back. After two years. The people they brought weren't my parents, they told me they were killed right after they were banished two years ago. I never asked this to happen, but did I want it to happen? So I had my independence back. 819Please respect copyright.PENANAzKVwoDXpmM
Two years later the people who thought I was a goddess finally threw me onto the streets. They thought I was a goddess, but they found out I wasn't. Stuck on the street at age 21, it felt weird to be back on the streets like my parents were back then. I'd always think of them, I kept the necklace my father gave me to remember me whenever I got lost. The town I was born in thought of me as stupid and a traitor for "pretending" to be a goddess. Walking into so many people who knew what I was, I would never believe them.
" child your a magician chosen by the Egyptian gods to protect this world, use your powers for good my dear" an old lady told me back in my town
" nana I doubt it" I would always say this to people, they would shake their heads and hope for the best of me.
I walked into the city, Egypt was a crowded place. People were staring at me, probably because they thought I didn't look like I was from here. I would do magic shows and get money from that, so I could eat and drink. At least feel a little human from the rest. As I traveled around the city for a good couple of months I bumped into a man and his son. His sone was only 18, the man was around his late 20's If my assuming was on point. The man took me in right away, his son though didn't seem to like me. I pushed it off for a while. 819Please respect copyright.PENANAN9mqU33agh
" so where are you from my dear" he asked me as we sat at his dining table eating what looked like some expensive food. 819Please respect copyright.PENANAdHt2akI5IO
" I'm from Memphis" I spoke softly eating the food as fast as possible
" why are you here in the capital" the son asked glaring at me819Please respect copyright.PENANA5kO0d73nss
" my parents and I were banished from my home town, the people lived there thought I was a goddess. So they banished my parents first. That was four years ago." I started being swallowing some more food. " Once they figured I wasn't a goddess they banished me for pretending to be one, even though I've told them multiple times that I wasn't a goddess. The journey here people kept telling me that I was a magician sent by the egyptian gods. I never believe that story" I added finishing my little story819Please respect copyright.PENANACOT5O9lDQr
" well most magicians are brought to earth to protect it, under Osiris's rule. Your special, no god or goddess asked you to protect this world. It seems you don't even know what your purpose is" the man said819Please respect copyright.PENANAtBBJTuEW5H
After that, the man gave me purpose. He showed me ways I could become stronger and better then ever. On my 22nd birthday he finally told me his name, Sirus. And I told him mine, Zia. But he wanted to give me a better and new name that would make me more happier. He decided to call me Lydia, keeping the 'i' and the 'a' in my name. I liked it a lot, especially when he called me by the name. As time went by, Lucas, his son left him. He turned into a boy who hated his father. Sirus was more then just a father figure to me, he was my best friend. I stayed by his side for a very long time. Lucas finally turned 22, I was 25. But In a bit of a pickle. 819Please respect copyright.PENANAcPwuYyJsjU
I had died on Greek territory, I was kept in Tatarus for a very long time until Hades found an opportunity for me. It didn't take me long to find a host and find my way back to Sirus. Not after long he told me to be a teacher at a girls school, and that girl was Casper Lucke. I wan't expecting much from this girl, but she did have sass. I was to be her science teacher, and learn everything and anything possible about her to tell Sirus when I get back to him. Everytime I did I gave him more information on Casper, then something happened. My host, Gabby, told Casper everything. And my mission was gone. 819Please respect copyright.PENANA7MjSOAil1c
I tried confronting her but nothing worked, she had her demons with her to perfect her. That half breed was strong. But I wanted to be stronger, even stronger then Sirus. He kept asking me to do things in exchange that I'd become stronger, and so I did what I was told. Every time Casper won I grew more and more angry with her, ruining Sirus's plan. It wasn't even to concur the world, it was to make me feel special. And now it's going to be ruined once more by someone who think's she's always right.819Please respect copyright.PENANAeQmQRalpNw

" before you do anything, let me tell you something" I spoke out from under Gabby, her ears flopped as she jumped off of me
" what is it" Theodor groaned like he didn't want to wait
" Sirus isn't going to concur the world" I blurted out as he moaned and rolled his eyes at me
" then what the bloody hell is he going to do" Seth questioned819Please respect copyright.PENANASulimCer06
" he's trying to give me purpose in this world, he wants the gods and goddess of egypt to see that I was given these powers with no purpose. He also wants me to become the queen of this land" I explained as Sirus just kept groaning at me without saying a word
" so what are you trying to propose" Casper questioned me pointing her sword at my throat
" let me go, I can teach Gabby more things about magic and help he become a great teacher at the camp in London. But once i'm done I'm going straight to your dimension Egypt and asking your father or Ra, or anyone for purpose. I'll never see you again Casper" I spoke almost trembling as I did
" you traitor" Sirus growled at me
" sorry my love, I never wanted to be yours in the first place" I winked as the magic that binded me to the wall let me go
" Theodor..." Casper muttered
" I like her proposal Cas, lets take her and let him rot" he chuckled
" just take away his magic and make him forget about everything that has happened. " I suggested " then put him in Tatarus to rot" I added as Theodor nodded
" as you wish ma'am" he winked as he did just that
Casper groaned but agreed to let me come back with them. With this host I was finally able to be more human like I've always wanted. And teach Gabby my magic to help her fulfill her purpose as an engineering teacher. Sirus was finally banished to a place even greek gods and goddesses hate repeating, he lost his magic as well. Mi rebuilt the place as a shelter, I still come see her from time to time. She's like the mother I wish I had for all those years I didn't have one.
We finally got back to the camp, Casper explained everything to Lucas. Who was still not happy to see me, but once he understood what I really wanted he gave me a big hug. He told me he wished he treated me better, like an older sister. It made me blush and tear up, that's all I wanted to hear from him. 819Please respect copyright.PENANAxgFyLn3B2I
That night we had dinner, and it was grand. All of the campers cheered and were happy to see new staff coming to help. I was in the same department Kai was, teaching the kids magic and how to manipulate it. But I was also in the same area as Gabby, but more of building the campers magical aura.
" this is great" I sighed looking out at the sunrise
" its better having you here" Lucas spoke as I felt him ruffle my hair
" really" I asked as I looked up at him
" really, I missed you sis" he admitted which made me blush a bit before looking out at the campers
" I missed you too Lucas" I admitted as well, leaning against the fence I sipped on my hot chocolate Lucas made for me
" this camp will be great, every demigod in the world will want to come here. Since they learn how to fight and how to use magic" he smiled as he leaned against the fence.819Please respect copyright.PENANAeoTYwJsjNC
" I wonder what father would think of this" I lightly spoke
" your father? He might think of how amazing you are, and what you've accomplished" Lucas said
" probably, I still hope he forgives me for going behind his back and becoming someone who used her magic for bad reasons" I sighed
" he forgives you, don't worry" Lucas nodded making me smile
I finished my coffee, putting the cup back inside I raced back outside to see Gabby. She was working on some spells by herself, she was sitting under the big oak in the middle of the camp. Getting there I panted lightly before helping her be able to know the movement of each spell, and to pronounce it correctly. Every magician should know that at least.
A/N: another chapter with Lydia's POV, but this one told her backstory. She decided to go with Casper back to camp. Her purpose in the world was not to help someone with theirs, but to found hers on your own. With the help of her new friends and family at the camp. Hope you guys liked this chapter, the next three will be the last chapters. So i'll be making a good bye chapter, and then something happens so I'm forced to make a third book next year. If not then I'll try and make the ending good, but I sill want to make a third book. Something on the lines of Seth going back to his old ways because of someone. And that someone might be Sirus, or someone new. Who could it be? Until then my lovelies. 819Please respect copyright.PENANAbmDR5b9rEO
