The celebrations in the avian city were majestic, but for Lion-O, they went by very quickly and before he knew it, he was already with the other thundercats in the kingdom of Thundera helping in their reconstruction.
In one of the newly rebuilt vaulted towers, Risu and Yuubi, they inspected some plans for the reconstruction of the kingdom of Lion-O.
“Remind me why we are still here, Captain," Yuubi said in a tired voice.
“You know Yuubi that we must help our friends the Thundercats to rebuild their kingdom.”
“How curious, I thought we came to this place to obtain the technological advantage that would help us once and for all to crush Dogisian, Mermak and the other planets on the axis. Now that that possibility doesn't exist, I see no reason why we shouldn't use all our efforts to rebuild our ship.”
“We can't do that yet, Yuubi, we promised our help to the Thundercats, we must help them in the reconstruction and in the establishment of peace with the Reptilians.”
“That will take a long time, and there is already a peace treaty signed!”
“A peace treaty that will be subject to interpretation once personal interests are mixed up. You know Yuubi, that's always been the reason for wars to be started, no matter how well written the treaties may be.”
“You're right, but I wonder if what we're doing is worth it.... From what Lion-O told me, his own people attacked him and his brother when he tried to defend a reptilian when he was a prisoner.... These people are rotten inside, I think if it hadn't been for Mumm-ra, Claudus' kingdom would still have fallen.”
“We are not very different from them," Risu replied with a smile. “Remember before we left Cathia, we watched our people burn all those asistedroids? People can do bad things, but in them is the seed for charity, we must only water that seed with our good intentions towards our neighbor.”
Yuubi looked at his friend with an inscrutable face.
"How long have you had such deep thoughts?" thought Yuubi. "And now that I think about it, I can't remember the last time you were so well shaved and without that bad-boy attitude."
At that moment Rauri came in with a tray carrying the afternoon tea for the two friends.
“Thank you very much Rauri," Risu thanked the asistedroid with a gentle smile.
“You're welcome, Risu, I hope the tea is to your liking and to the vice captain's.”
Yuubi raised a couple of inches every eyebrow and then hardened his gaze, was the asistedroid on a first-name basis with her friend?
The disciplined cathian decided not to make any observations and proceeded to observe the development of these two with great attention.
"The treatment of these two goes beyond the cordial," Yuubi analyzed, as he watched his friend and her assidroid chat casually, though Risu blushed from time to time and Rauri reacted shyly as well.
"I think they both have feelings for each other even though they may not recognize each other at the moment," Yuubi concluded, and although it was obvious that Risu and Rauri wanted some time alone, he decided he needed to clear things up with his friend.
Rauri bid a polite farewell to the two Cathians and the two friends began the talk.
“I see that the asistedroid is calling you by your first name Risu.”
“Well, after everything we've been through so far, I don't think the formalities are necessary.”
"What do you mean, after all we've been through?" Yuubi thought alarmed, knowing how echi his friend was.
“Emm, I mean our whole adventure from the time we left Cathia until Mumm-ra's defeat.”
“Are you sure there's nothing else you should tell me about the asistedroid?”
“Her name is Rauri, I ask you to call her that instead of just saying asistedroid.”
“I'm sorry, but.... just friends, you know that, right?”
“What do you mean!”
“I mean, she's not real.”

“It's just software, in the end it's just a machine, and there are a lot of girls in Cathia.”
“Not to me, Rauri is the sweetest creature I have ever met.”

Yubbi stepped out of the room and Risu was thoughtful.

Risu was wandering around when he met Wilykit and came up with another one of his "famous and classic ideas".
“Hi Wilykit, what are you doing so lonely in this place?”
“Sebastian, Jessie and Wilikat went with Panthro and Cheetara to get some food for lunch," said Wilykit with a sad face.
“Isn't it too late for lunch?” Then why did you stay here?
“For playing with Sebastian... I mean, for playing with the guys, I burned the food and now I'm grounded... I'm bored to death.”
“What do you think if you help me Wilykit?”
“With what?”
“You know Vice Captain Yubbi, right?”
“Yes.”
“You see, he looks very... sad and I'd like someone to keep him company.”
“Company?”
“...Yeah, you know... I'd like you to give him some... love...”
Suddenly, a shiny black boot had crushed the "noble parts" of the cathian from behind.
“Hey, what's up!” said Wilykit as she watched Risu fall to his knees, while Yuubi, behind his friend, watched him with a reproving gesture on his face.
“You may retire, Wilykit," said Yuubi with a frown and a twitch in his left eye.
The Thundercat girl did not understand what was happening, but preferred to listen to Yuubi and left the place quickly.
“You... you... you stupid perverted lolicon, you're a sick, disgusting dog, more than a dog... Pig!”
“The jewels of the family” cried Risu, with a very sharp voice as he held her low crotch tightly. “The family jewels... you left me uncle... You also crushed the "little prince"... Auch, "the precious" was damaged.”
Risu collapsed to the ground after the latter groaned.
“Hum, you know you deserve it!” Yuubi hissed, and then withdrew with a firm step from the place.

Yuubi stopped to watch Rauri entertain Wilykit with one of her stories about her long existence in Cathia.
"Maybe this is for the best, crazy as it may seem, I think it's the assistedroid, Rauri, who can make my friend mature and bring out the best in him.... Yes, this is the best, I'm not like those idiots in Cathia, I'm not, am I?"
Yuubi's self-examination was interrupted when he spotted Lion-O.
“King Lion-O, I'd like to talk to you.”
“You know Yuubi that such formalities are not necessary.”
“I know, King Lion-O, but it turns out I have an important report to give you. Remember what I asked you for the day we entered Mumm-ra's "pyramid"?”
This time, Lion-O, overshadowed the expression.
“Yeah, I remember. Did you find anything out?”

In the late afternoon, the thundercats arrived and prepared lunch which eventually became dinner and all dined together with the exception of Rauri and Wilykit.
“Where's Rauri gone?” said Tara, while she was drinking alcohol and burping a loud burp that was looked down on by everyone but Panthro, who was delighted, we'd say he had the look of a fool in love.
“Wilykit should be here too. Maybe she feels guilty that she burned the food and that we're having lunch so late," said Tygra, who, thanks to Cheetara's influence, had left his character so challenging and now seemed gentler.
“Don't worry, Tygra," a very happy Lion-O reassured him, "there she comes along with Rauri.”
Wilykit ran to the table, she seemed very agitated and although she tried to explain herself, nothing was understood.
"Oh, I hope it is nothing to do with what happened before with Risu," Yuubi thought alarmed as he put on his classic poker face and proceeded to take a calm, brief sip of the contents of his glass of wine.
“Relax Wilykit," said Rauri, "I'll explain it to them. You see everyone, Wilykit was telling me about her family and in one of those talks the conversation about the fairy tale her father was reading her came up.”
“And what about it?” Wilykat said strangely, who crossed glances with Jessie (who was holding his hand) and Sebastian.
“Well, look at this, Risu," said Rauri, as she handed the captain a sheet of paper, apparently from a book. “The drawing says that the image is the city of El Dara.”
Risu saw the drawing and then frowned, then showed the drawing to Yuubi, who, despite all his self-control, spat his drink into the faces of Jessie and Sebastian.
“Sorry children, I didn't mean to!”
“But what does that picture show?” Cheetara asked.
“It says here:'The city of El Dara',” said Risu, “the name has no known roots in any language of Cathia, but it is obvious that the structures drawn here belong to ancient Cathian buildings.”

Author's final notes: What they did to Pumyra was taken from the American cartoon which is based on the Japanese street fighter 2 games. Since it's the same thing that the bad guy M.Bison did to poor Cammy White, so that she could become her loyal follower and (supposedly) lover.
Yuubi's thoughts on the "that even a doll can have a soul..." thing. I took it from the anime of the genius Masamune Shirow: "Ghost in the Shell", the film.
