[Perspective Shift: Dullahan]
Moryuu confidently walks in front of us towards what ever lays ahead.
I look towards Arrea who is lagging behind slightly. She stares at Moryuu waiting and hoping for a chance to kill him.
But we know better, besides the fact that we would be hunted down, Moryuu has no holes in his defenses.
The walk was long and full of blood, along the way we killed many mythics and every time Moryuu would disappear like a ghost leaving us to deal with it. He would reappear later like nothing happened and as expected Arrea had enough.
Arrea- “Moryuu! Were do you go when we’re fighting and don’t say a stroll again?”
Moryuu- “Why curious, I told you I wouldn't help you.”
Arrea- “My skin crawls not know where you are and what you’re doing.”
Moryuu- “Worried?”
Arrea- “….”
Moryuu- “It doesn't matter, knowing won’t make you feel better.”
Arrea-”….”
Moryuu- “Or is it something else?”
Arrea- “?”
Moryuu- “Are you just worked up with Kate being gone.”
Arrea- (Breathing in Anger)
Moryuu- “Don’t worry she’s fine.”
Arrea- “How would you know?”
Moryuu- “Would you believe me if I said I was a God.”
Arrea- “Ha, you very conceited you know that?”
Moryuu- “No I didn't know that.”
We continued along after that without any more problems.
We came across, surprisingly, a village on the island with what seems to be humans. They must be worshipers of the Island’s God, I’m surprised there are any left.
We hid in the bushes ready to strike and kill all inside.
Arrea- “Let’s get this over with.”
Moryuu- “No, wait.”
Arrea- “What?”
Arrea- “Oh, getting sentimental about your fellow humans.”
Moryuu- “They lost that privilege when they began worshiping a God.”
Moryuu- “We do not know what God is on this island, this will be a good chance to learn about it from it’s followers.”
Arrea- “So we just, what, walk in and ask?”
Moryuu- “Watch.”
Moryuu walked into the village and of course was seen as suspicious by them. They had spears at the ready but Moryuu began talking and they soon put them down.
Dullahan- “Can you hear what his saying.”
Arrea- “Not really.”
We waited and waited until he beckoned us to come.
Arrea- “What are we dogs?”
Dullahan- “It doesn't matter, lets just go.”
Arrea- “Tch….
We came out of hiding and walked up besides Moryuu and as the humans saw us their eyes slightly bulged.
Village Chief- “Are these truly the mythics you told us about Moryuu.”
Moryuu- “The same.”
Some of them stared at me while backing away slightly.
Village Chief- “Be not afraid, we had another agent of death before and our God welcomed her all the same.”
….
Village Chief- “We shall accept any help that we can get, our God is one of the last ones and we want to defend him from what will come.”
Moryuu- “Thank you Chief.”
Village Chief- “Since you are a part of the family you can call me Honda.”
Moryuu- “Okay, Honda.”
Me and Arrea look towards each other and nodded. We knew what to do, gather information on the God.
We entered the Village to be meet with many people of various races and ages living in these primitive huts.
Many children came running up to Kirin when they saw him.
I petted Kirin.
Dullahan- “Play with the children will you.”
Kirin- “Nod”
Honda- “Make yourselves at home.”
Some larger children suddenly ran to Honda.
Child 1- “Where is Sara?”
Child 2- “When is Sara coming back?”
Honda- “Oh, forgive me but did you happen to see a young Banshee with a white yukata and long black hair.”
Dullahan- “!”
Moryuu- “No sir, sorry.”
Honda- “I’m sorry children….but it seems….”
Child 1- “Sara….”
Honda- “She probably not coming back.”
Child 1- “No….”
Child 2- (Cry)
Their mother it would seem comes to take them home.
Honda- “I’m sorry but can you help heal their wounds.”
Mother- “Of course, come here little ones.”
The mother picks them up tenderly and carries them away but still I can hear their tears of sorrow.
Honda- “*Sigh* It’s sad that we lost Sara too. She loved the children and they loved her.”
Moryuu- “I-I’m sorry.”
Honda- “It’s fine, it’s not like you killed her.”
Moryuu- “But I still wish that it didn't have to come to this.”
Honda- “As we all.”
Dullahan- “….”
Honda- “I wonder what the world would be like if the Mythics stayed secret.”
Moryuu- “….”
Honda- “I’ll let you three explore, I have business to take care of.”
Honda went to what I would imagine his hut to deal with the funereal.
Moryuu- “*Sigh* Well see you two later, you know what to do.”
After Moryuu was at a safe distance away Arrea whispered to me.
Arrea- “What do you think of these humans?”
Dullahan- “They have the right to worship, I don’t hate them if that’s what your asking.”
Arrea- “They’re still humans, they’ll never be on our side.”
Dullahan- “….”
Arrea- “I’m going to look around.”
Dullahan- “Good luck.”
I didn’t know where to actually go to ask about the God where it wouldn’t seem suspicious. All I saw was huts and tents with people going about their lives.
This might be the first time in a while since I was in a place that seemed….
Peaceful.
I take a look back at Kirin to see the kids enjoying playing with him and even some adults admiring his beautiful flowing hair.
I hope Kirin doesn’t dislike the attention.
I begin my search by just wondering around but it did not take me long to notice there were still some scared looks.
I ignored them and kept wondering until I happened upon what seemed to be Honda’s hut. As if to answer my assumption Honda exited the hut.
Honda- “Oh the Dullahan, how can I help you?”
I noticed his eyes, his been crying. The weight of this village must be heavy especially considering his old age.
Dullahan- “Is there a stigma on agents of death.”
Honda- “Forgive them, their fear is understandable. Despite that Sara tried hard to show them that not all agents are after their lives.”
Dullahan- “Will she receive a funereal?”
Honda- “Yes, every Mythic that leaves our village leaves something just in case….they don’t come back.”
Honda- “She….left her hairpin. We shall bury this in her memory.”
Dullahan- “I see….”
Honda- “Enough about that I want to ask you something, come over here.”
He takes me to an uninhabited hut and told me to sit down.
Honda- “Now, are you ashamed of your past as an agent of death Dullahan?”
Dullahan- “!”
Dullahan- “Why do you ask?”
Honda- “I’m sorry to pry but this is the same question I asked Sara.”
Dullahan- “….”
Dullahan- “Yes.”
Honda- “You said the same thing that Sara did and I will say the same thing I said to her.”
Honda- “You are an agent of Death and that will never change.”
Dullahan- “!”
Honda- “But that is not all you are, you can’t reject one side in favor for another. They are both apart you.”
Honda- “You will always have a weight on you if you push it down, it will become like a blood clot.”
Honda- “And eventually it will burst to the surface when you don’t want it to.”
Honda- “Face that dark side of yourself and embrace it but don’t let it control you. Death is apart of life and can give way to life it’s nothing to be ashamed of, it is what you do with that power that counts.”
Dullahan- “I don’t think you understand what you’re saying.”
Honda- “Ha, that’s at least better than Sara. At least think on what I said.”
Dullahan- “No promises.”
Honda- “That’s fair, see you soon Dullahan.”
I left the hut and wondered around the village while thinking.
I left that side of me behind, I don’t want to become what I was before.
While I was wondering around I stumbled on Arrea.
She seemed busy but in that next moment something unexpected happened.

I’ve searched this entire place and I only got one piece of information.
*Sighs Heavily*
I wish we could just kill everyone and just go kill the god like we usually do. I don’t want to converse with these animals anymore.
???- “*Hump*”
Arrea- “What the-
I felt something on one of my legs and when I looked down I saw a small human-
hugging it?
Arrea- “W-What are you doing?”
???- “You looked upset so I gave you a hug.”
Arrea- “What?”
The little girl looked up to me with large blue eyes and messy hair. I felt slightly violated and even tempted to run away but I got to bare it.
Arrea- “Where is your mother child?”
???- “Mila.”
Arrea- “Excuse me.”
Mila- “My name, Mila.”
Arrea- “O-Okay Mila, where is your mother?”
Mila- “….”
Arrea- “What’s the problem?”
Mila- “I don’t want to go home, it reminds me of my sister.”
Arrea- “Y-Your sister, w-what happened to her?”
Mila- “….”
Mila- “She went up into the sky.”
Arrea- “!”
Arrea- “I-I’m sorry.”
Mila- “*Shaking head*”
Mila- “Don’t be sad, you need to happy. That’s why I hugged you Spider lady. I don’t want you to feel like me.”
Arrea- “….”
Arrea- “My name is Arrea.”
Mila- “Nice to meet you Arrea.”
Arrea- “….”
Arrea- “Nice to meet you, Mila.”
???- “Mila!”
Another women comes towards us.
Mila- “Mommy.”
Mother- “It’s almost time to go home.”
Mila- “O-Okay mom.”
Mother- “Sorry if she caused you trouble.”
Arrea- “N-Not at all….”
The mother carries Mila away back home but she gives me a wave.
Mila- “Bye Arrea.”
….
….

I should leave before I’m found out seeing her this way.
Night soon came and we were shown to our own hut, they had only one available at the moment so we had to deal with it or so I thought.
Arrea- “I’m not sleeping with you Moryuu.”
Moryuu- “I’m hurt Arrea, I’m truly am.”
Arrea- “Good.”
Moryuu- “Well I pretty sure you could find a tree to hang from but before you go, what information did you gather?
Arrea- “….”
Arrea- “Not much about the God of this island but something about the previous one.”
Moryuu- “Really?”
Arrea- “There used to be another God on this island that is said to dwarf all others but died long ago due to the birth of mankind. But some say he’s just sleeping under the island waiting to be summoned.”
Dullahan- “….”
Moryuu- “….”
Moryuu- “That’s sounds like a false myth.”
Arrea- “Well that’s all I got.”
Moryuu- “That’s fine for now, all I got was that the God’s name is Gremmy and is apparently really kind. However what worshiper doesn't say their God is kind. We’ll figure out more tomorrow.”
Arrea- “If that’s all, I’m leaving.”
Arrea left to find her own sleeping spot leaving me with Moryuu.
Moryuu- “Well, are you fine with sleeping with me?”
Dullahan- “I’ll sleep next to Kirin outside.”
Moryuu- “Okay, good night.”
Dullahan- “….”
I left and found Kirin sleeping near by, I stroked his fur and slept thinking on what Honda said.
