It didn’t take long for Talon to gather the group. Jayden looks healed, Ignatius is worried and looking exhausted, Carlos and Senshi seem to be in a better mood. Finally, we have Vandel who has a new eye and a stronger air to him.
I get up and stretch my body.
Vandel- “Are you sure you’re going to be okay? You took a lot of damage.”
Moryuu- “I’ll be fine.
Moryuu- “Nice eye by the way.”
Vandel smiles and nods at my comment.
Talon- “Okay no time to talk, a shift is about to happen. Everyone hold hands.”
Everyone gets in a circle and holds hands. I steal a glance at my watch, 30 seconds.
Senshi- “Are you ever going to explain why you know so much.”
Talon- “Nope.”
Senshi opened her mouth to say something else but stop herself, deciding to just glare at Talon. I’m impressed, maybe she’ll survive this yet.

The world begins to shake and morph around, we grip each other hands harder to keep from getting separated. It feels like this shift is even more chaotic than last time.
Despite the harsh trip, we arrive at our new location and I couldn’t believe my eyes.
Talon: “Thank God, one of us must be the goddess of luck.”
Jayden: “You can say that again, it’s almost nostalgic.”
We arrived at the first place the group had rest, at least to my knowledge, that fancy hotel.
Talon: “If you guys haven’t rested before, this is a great opportunity.”
Vandel: “No, we’ve rested enough. We need to save Nu and Magpie.”
Ignatius: “I agree, she doesn’t have much time.”
Ignatius says but doesn't seem to be in any position to fight right now.
Talon: “Alight, I definitely can see the urgency. Two beautiful damsels in distress, who wouldn’t rush to help.”
Vandel and Ignatius say nothing but do give a well-deserved glare, there’s a time and place.
Talon: “Just trying to keep the morale high with some comedy. Anyway, I think you guys need to know the whole truth about this world.”

Some were noticeably upset and others just took in the information rather well.
Good thing Talon didn’t mention him hoarding the souls for safekeeping.
Jayden: “….I don’t think I believe you entirely but if what you say is true then I can see why destroying these pillars are important."
Senshi: “Wait a minute, so you’re saying we’ve been through this multiple times!?”
Talon: “Pretty much, sorry dear.”
Senshi: “Don’t call me….I don’t even know what to say to this.”
Carlos tried to comfort her but she lightly pushed his hand away and went to a corner to think.
Jayden's eyes flash yellow and I reach for my tonfa ready for anything.
Cordis- “So you’re telling me Caecius can come back!?”
Talon- “He will after we’re all dead and the cycle repeats. Well, if the cycle repeats. Regardless, you won’t remember whatever bond you’ve gained with him this round.”
Cordis glares at Talon and seems ready to attack but his eyes flash back to normal before anything could happen.
Jayden- “….Where’s his soul Talon?”
Talon- “Safe, don’t ask me to give him to you because they’ll be returned to where they belong once we’re done here.”
Jayden grabs his head as blood trickles down his nose.
Jayden- “….T-That’s not your responsibility.”
Talon- “It is my responsibility actually.”
Jayden- “So are you from-”
Vandel- “That’s enough, true or not I think it’s better to be safe than sorry. Our main goal hasn’t changed so let’s not waste time arguing.”
Jayden and Talon give one last stare down before breaking off.
Jayden- “We’re not done talking with you.”
Talon- “Oh joy, I can barely wait.”
Jayden- “So, is the plan to split up?”
Talon- “Yeah, as much as I want to be the one to save both ladies I’ll leave that to you guys. I’m coming with-”
Moryuu- “No you’re not.”
Talon- “Excuse me?”
Moryuu- “I’m the only one strong enough to do enough damage to the Pillars. I think you’ll need all the help you can get when facing Ravage and Shadow so I’ll destroy them alone.”
Vandel- “Wait a minute, we might need you too. Besides just look outside, it’s crawling with monsters.”
Moryuu- “I know but someone needs to do this and I have enough energy to do what needs to be done.”
I look to Senshi who is now paying more attention to the conversation. 3 or so days are up, I hope she’s firmly on our side.
Moryuu- “Besides I think you have the power to handle what comes your way now. No need for two Gods on one team, right Senshi?”
Senshi- “!!!”
Carlos- “What do you-”
Moryuu- “I’ll see you guys later, good luck with saving Nu.”
I turn around and prepare to head out but Talon grabs my coat.
Talon- “I’ll be sure to teleport someone to you if you need help….good luck out there.”
I nod and jump out the window to the ground level. I made sure to be silent as possible, I can’t waste energy fighting the mob.

Talon- “Always on the move that one.”
Carlos- “...What did he mean Senshi?”
Senshi- “How should I know, he always gave me the creeps. He might have just wanted to get my attention or something.”
Vandel- “Ignatius do you know where Shadow might be?”
Ignatius- “I have an idea but Talon will have to transport us there.”
Talon- “No problem, it won’t take as long as last time. I’ll open portals fast enough so we can avoid the mob along the way.”
Ignatius- “Alright, here’s the plan.”
