Okada seriously wanted Kiznaiver to be a battle anime, didn’t she lol the poor woman had to sneak at least one fight in there. - As expected!! Katsuhira calls Chidori and the others to ask them for their help to save Nori-chan. “Chidori, Nori-chan is in trouble. I want to save her, so please, lend me your power–” / something along those lines.
- ALSO as expected, it’s Nico the one to remind everyone that they are Katsuhira’s friends, and get everyone’s asses in gear after Honoka says that Noriko isn’t their problem!
- Yuta is SO precious, too!
- Chidori pulls through!! “Just like Nico said, Kacchon wants to save Sonozaki-san, so I want to save her too!” And she makes THE SAME EXPRESSION SHE MAKES IN THE ENDING I READ IT RIGHT THANK GOD.
- KATSUHIRA CAN FEEL NORIKO’S LOCATION I KNEW IT!!
- “The Kiznaiver system had nothing to do with it!”
- TENGA PULLS THROUGH AS WELL. They do share all their realizations with Noriko and Katsuhira!
- Sobs EVERYONE pulls through!! Honoka’s is SO glorious!
- CHIDORI TRIES TO EXPLAIN KATSUHIRA’S FEELINGS FOR NORIKO TO NORIKO!! I GOT MY WISH.
- THE WIND FROM THE ENDING!

- HOLY SHIT IT’S GLORIOUS. Katsuhira catches her and they both fall into the river down below!!
- WE GET ANOTHER SCENE WITH THEM REACHING OUT FOR EACH OTHER AND NORIKO ENTWINES THEIR FINGERS TOGETHER!

- Oh my god, Katsuhira calls Noriko cute and they both blush!
- Okay so Noriko was either going to cup his face again or about to kiss him but they get interrupted by everyone. HAHAHA
- They do get their “Best friends” photobooth photograph back!! Nico tells her that next time, she should go with them! Noriko smiles and says “Okay!”
And that’s… it? I actually thought we may get another scene but nope it ends just like that. Sobs we missed Genki! Noriko’s glorious smile but at least it’s more realistic this way. Everyone is on the right road!!
Leaving Katsuriko aside, I have some qualms about stuff that wasn’t touched at all but I think I’ll just focus on the stuff they did right first lol
