"Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly release it out of your mouth. Concentrate on your breathing, on the rising and falling of your shoulders. Now imagine yourself encapsulated in a ball of white light. Pull it toward you, closer and closer. Keep breathing. Feel your body as it becomes lighter, your head and arms having no weight. Now release your whole being into the ground to become one." She breathed.
Holding the crystal loosely in my hands my fingertips started to tingle. Small shocks of electricity were spidering through them one by one, confusing my senses.
"Feel the energy as it radiates through you. Welcome the sensation of being whole, complete." Abigail whispered. "Roll the crystal between your palms. A heightened sense of awareness should overcome you. What do you see, hear, feel?"
My hands now felt as if they were on fire. The burning ball of energy between them made my body react as the crystal burrowed deep within my very soul, connecting me to the universe.
"My body is light. I can feel the buoyancy of my weight, my connection to the air and water. My mind is quiet, as peaceful as the blowing wind. My hands like fire, erupting as light to my normal darkness." I admitted.
Allowing myself to fall deeper into the serenity of the crystal my ears have now opened. The slight humming of the worlds vibrations have tugged at my attention. Opening every sense to the wonders surrounding me.
"Tell me." Abigail whispered.
"I can hear the swooshing of my blood as it pumps throughout my veins. The sound of footsteps pounding against the ground, and the roots of trees digging deeper within the soil."
"Good. Keep your eyes closed, but open your third eye."
Raising my hands to my head, I gently swiped my still clasped fingers over my forehead, mentally opening my eyes to the light that has filtered in.
I gasped as my vision was perfected. Colors became more vibrant, beautiful. Shapes were becoming more appealing, the mysteriousness of the unknown fading into oblivion.
"I see others," I said quietly. "Their forms are obscured by the white attire and light thats glowing around them. All different colors, blue green, purple are radiating from their hands."
I watched closely as hands were placed gently on unknowing individuals. The light transferred into them, circling every organ and muscle.
"They are chanting, what are they saying? Where am I?" I asked Abigail, who was now in the same realm I was in.
"This is the training area. Each of these men and woman are attempting to heal their host. The chanting is their own personal healing words. As the power is distributed into the ill, these words help ensure it is working."
"So it's almost like a spell?" I asked curiously.
"Yes. Why don't you go ahead and try."
The room was large with just two walls and a corridor that seemed to have gone on forever. Against the walls were cubical looking separators, each healer placed perfectly in the center with their arms stretched out.
Making my way down the hall, dozens of glowing hands and bodies illuminated the nooks, casting hues of colors on the partitions.
An empty space caught my attention as I slid my way inside. In the walk way, the wall seems to be just that, a wall. But things aren't always what they appear to be.
My eyes enlarged as I took in the scenery before me. A hospital room that was dimly lit held one occupant in a hospital bed and someone sitting in a chair next to it. I could feel the sadness and grief that swirled around the room, grabbing a hold of my chest. I wanted to cry, scream, do something to make the pain go away.
Suddenly a face appeared before me. A gentle looking man in his mid to late 40s, smiled before he started speaking.
"Your host today is William Spear. He is a 10 year old boy suffering from severe brain damage. He was in a tragic car accident that took the life of his father. Your goal is to heal his brain and awaken him from his coma. I wish you the best of luck." He said as his face slowly started to disappear from sight.
"No, no, wait, wait. I don't know what I'm doing. Don't leave me." I cried out, but my words were left unnoticed, leaving this young boys life in my hands.
"Great." I mumbled under my breath. "This is exactly what I need, to feel guilt for the rest of my life if I can't heal him."
Taking a moment and gathering myself together, I took a few deep breaths, relaxing my body, washing all my worries away.
I concentrated on William. His small head wrapped in white gauze still stained by the blood that was retreating from his wound. His chest was rising and falling evenly, not on his own accord, but from the machine that pumped air in and out of his lungs.
His mother laid slumped in her chair, resting her head on his arm. I could hear her prayers and pleas for help. Begging someone to save him and take her instead.
Watching this mother's heart being ripped out of her chest fueled my desire to save her baby, to save her. I started rubbing my hands together, warming the energy they held.
"Where's the crystal?" I asked myself, searching my pockets and around me. Looking down, I could see the crystal hanging from around my neck. A silver, spiraling cage surrounding it, holding it tightly in place.
I carefully placed my hand over it, as I reached my other hand over to Williams head. I could feel the electricity as it traveled from the crystal, through my hand, across my chest, and down and into my other hand.
"Helante sagmorne. Helante sagmorne." I chanted, with eyes fixated on William. I pushed myself deeper into his head, passing his skull until I found a pink mass. Releasing the crystal I brought my other hand into place, cradling his still growing injured brain. 443Please respect copyright.PENANATizuCYcC1a
Crimson blood leaked from the crevices and filled the shell that protected it. A light blue color highlighted sections of his brain, as deep burning red highlighted the others. Without question, I knew the red was damage, and I needed to fix it.
"Helante sagmorne. Helante sagmorne."
I rolled my hands continuously over his injury, each red spot dissipating until it slowly regenerated to blue. Over and over I chanted until my body felt weak.
"You're almost there." I heard a voice ring in my head.
Deciding to separate my hands I concentrated my left on his brain and my right on his mother. I fed my strength and courage into her chest, allowing her pounding heart to soak it up. She needed to be strong for William, refuse to give up.
All of my emotions were running rampant, I couldn't control the very thoughts and feelings that escaped my body. I was determined to heal him, determined to heal his mother's broken heart, at all cost.
Suddenly a burst of energy released from my hands. Everything turned white, like the initial blast from a structure fire.
Everything fell quiet, the rays before me vanished. Blinking my eyes I watched intently as Williams mother raised her head from the place it laid.
Her strength was becoming apparent. Her want and need for her son to wake up was pulsing through her veins, her heart ready to explode from the pounding that intensified.
"Now!" I screamed, as Williams eyes burst open, settling on his now standing mother.
"You're ready!" Abigail whispered, hugging my still tense body.
