Alyara felt the slight sunlight hit the tip of her nose. The curtains didn't entirely block the window, and she let out a quiet and soft groan. She felt a warm and hard body behind her as she stretched, a strong arm on her waist. Alyara slowly turned to look behind her, and Isaiah was sleeping soundly, snoring slightly.
"I can't believe him! I told him to sleep on the couch." A small chuckle escaped her lips. Alyara looked at Isaiah's sleeping form; he looked peaceful. It was strange for her. They barely know each other, but it felt so right. It made Alyara wonder if it was the wolf connection. The young woman couldn't believe how stubborn Isaiah was. Alyara was about to get up from bed and tried to lift his arm. However, his arm was heavy like a stone. She tried to squirm her way out of his grip.
Then, Isaiah held onto her even more. He let out a groan. "Mine," he mumbled. He was still asleep.
Alyara tried to move, but it was pointless. "Isaiah, please wake up. I have to get up and make breakfast."
Isaiah snuggled even more; his body was on her. A sheepless smile came across his lips. "Alyara..."
That was when Alyara felt something behind her. It was hard, yet soft. Her face and body became warm; a blush came across her face. Isaiah had an erection. "Isaiah, wake the hell up!"
This made the Alpha wake up and alert. He looked at Alyara. "What happened!? Are you okay!?"
The young woman eyed him. "You were hugging me too hard, and well..."
Isaiah let out a sheepish smile as he let her go, and when she got up, he noticed his erection. He felt a bit embarrassed. "Why are you embarrassed? At least our mate knows how impressive we are," chuckled Rafael.
"Shut it, horndog," snapped Isaiah.
Rafael rolled his eyes. "Come on, don't deny that you're not horny. We can take her now; she will know why we are Alpha." The wolf smirked. "I can show her a good time."
"No way in hell!"
"Isaiah?"
The Alpha came back to reality. "Sorry, what was that?"
"I'm going to make some pancakes. Would you like some?"
He nodded. "Now, this is what I call a good morning. Being with my mate who will also cook me a nice warm breakfast. Everything I have ever dreamed of."
Alyara shook her head a bit and went to the kitchen to cook. Isaiah got out of bed and stretched. He had never felt so happy in his life. He was being able to have Alyara in his arms. He was used to sleeping on his own or having one-night stands. It was not the same without his mate. Isaiah felt his world was complete, but now he had a few problems ahead.
Her parents.
Alyara did mention that her parents knew about skinwalkers and had a negative belief about them. She wanted to take things slow; Isaiah couldn't blame her. He went to the kitchen where Alyara was cooking. He felt his heart beating warmly. The sight of Alyara makes his heart soar. He slowly walked behind and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Smells delicious."
"I hope you don't mind chocolate chip pancakes. I also made scrambled eggs and sausage."
"Sounds good."
Alyara put the food on plates while Isaiah poured juice and milk into separate cups. The two sat by the table and discussed their plan when Alyara's parents arrived. Isaiah also couldn't help but notice how she ate the sausages. He tried his best not to think dirty and to control his urges. Rafael wasn't helping either. "Those lips are so delectable. The way she eats that sausage. I wonder how her mouth can do with our..."
Isaiah mind linked his wolf to quiet down as he tried to have a peaceful breakfast. Alyara got a text from her mother saying they were arriving at 11 am. She got nervous, but Isaiah was there to comfort her. Time went by, and it was five minutes until her parents arrived. Isaiah changed into his wolf form, sitting like a loyal dog. Alyara waited by the door, waiting for her parents. She gave him a warning glare. "Don't try anything stupid, Isaiah. You promised to behave today."
Isaiah raised his paw in his wolf form as if telling her not to worry. A knock was heard. Alyara opened the door; her parents arrived.
