Dinner ended, and a conversation ensued for another two hours until Alyara's parents decided it was time for them to leave. Everyone said their goodbyes. Before leaving, Mojag extended his hand to Isaiah; the men shook hands. The older couple left; Alyara stretched her arms. "That was intense but nice. What do you think, Isaiah?"
"It was riveting. Now we're alone." Isaiah put an arm around his mate, and Alyara blushed. "Well, now that my parents are gone, and nothing has happened, you can go to your home, Isaiah."
Isaiah felt slightly hurt. "You want me to leave?" he asked in a whisper-like tone. "You don't like my company?"
"She just doesn't like your company, but she would probably like mine more since I'm a handsome devil," said Rafael. "Let me take over." Even Rafael wouldn't admit that the thought of Alyara wanting them to leave hurt them.
The young woman didn't realize that Isaiah would get hurt by such things. "It-It's not like that! I-Its just that since there's no danger, you would probably want to go home."
"No, I like staying here with you. I've been delighted in these couple of hours and days. Being close to you makes me happy. You know we can take turns staying in our places."
She knew that Isaiah would never leave her alone, no matter what she would say. "Oh, well, that would be nice. It's just that I've never been in another man's house other than Marco's."
Isaiah and Rafael growled. "She's been alone in another man's house!?" said Rafael.
"We have to calm ourselves, Rafael. Remember, she and Marco are only friends. She did have a crush on him, but luckily he never said anything. Which means they didn't do anything with one another." Isaiah cleared his throat. "Well, I want us to live together since we're a couple."
Alyara was shocked. "Isn't that too soon? I mean, I'm still trying to accept the fact that you're a werewolf, and we barely got together. Everything is going so fast."
"I understand your hesitance. However, I am not like other werewolves. I'm an Alpha of a pack; we Alphas tend to be more territorial and impatient. I have been looking for you all my life, Alyara. I know you want to take things but are connected with me." Then, an idea came to mind. "I think it's time you meet our pack since you are their Luna."
"Isaiah, again, you're going too fast. Wait, meet your pack? As in...?"
Isaiah nodded. "Yup, they were going to meet you anyways, but the sooner, the better. My pack has been somewhat restless that they don't have a Luna. "
"What's a Luna?"
"A Luna is a title given to an Alpha's mate. She is the pack's matriarch who stands by her Alpha's side. She also helps the Alpha run and make decisions for the pack." He held onto his mate. "You must meet them; I met your parents."
She glared at Isaiah. "Oh, I see how it is—a favor for a favor."
"Well, both situations were going to happen eventually." He let out a wolfish grin. "You're going to have to meet the pack sooner or later. So why not sooner?" Isaiah's eyes became softer, so soft that it made his face look innocent. They were his puppy eyes. Alyara blushed and looked away. "By the way, your father knows of my identity."
This caught the young woman off guard. "What!? Did you tell him!?"
"No, he figured it out himself. He took me outside to test his theory, a silver coin. We werewolves are weak against silver; it could kill us."
"Silver can kill you?"
"Yeah, everything and everyone has to have a weakness. For my kind, it's silver."
"H-How did my Dad react?"
"Nonchalant. Of course, he had doubts about us, but I convinced him otherwise. He seemed to be at ease and accepted who I am."
Alyara was stunned. "It's best that we don't tell my mom. She's a blabbermouth."
A chuckle escaped his lips. "That's what your Father said. So Alyara, what do you say? I will let you meet the pack first. After you meet them, you can decide if you want to live with me. Would that sound fair?"
Alyara contemplated everything and let out a sigh. "Okay, I will give it a shot."
Isaiah sighed in relief. "Thank you, my love! Thank you! You made me very happy, and I know my pack will be happy to meet you too!"
"I'm a little nervous, though."
Isaiah hugged Alyara. "It's okay to feel nervous. The pack will love you as I do. They waited for their Luna for a long time. Just be yourself."
Warmth was felt throughout Alyara's body; she slowly hugged him back. They enjoyed each other's touch. "Alyara."
"Yeah?"
"I'm sleeping here and with you."
"Great..."
Rafael chuckled. "Oh yeah, baby, we're here to stay."
