Isaiah and Darren were outraged and distraught at the disappearance of their mates. Darren was distraught since Emilia was pregnant; he was slowly going to despair. Isaiah, too, was worried for Alyara; Rafael was howling in pain. He wanted to find their mates, but his pack members were arriving soon. Isaiah couldn't let them hang, and he needed their help.
"Who could have taken them!? It was probably rogues!" yelled Darren.
A scent his Isaiah, and he carefully concentrated and smelled; there was more than one scent. "Hunters!" What confused and angered Isaiah the most is that hunters only hunt rogues, werewolves that break the treaties or hurt or kill hunters. Isaiah made sure that his pack followed the laws. Why would they take Alyara and Emilia?
"You've got to be kidding me!? We haven't broken any treaties or harmed anyone! Why would they take our mates!?
"You need to control yourself, Darren! We need to have the pack involved in this!" A thought came to him. "I think I know who might know about this. Come on. We will need to pay a little visit to a certain hunter."

Marco was in his room doing paperwork that his Uncle had brought him an hour ago. He and his Uncle thought it was strange that Marco had to do more work than usual. Usually, Tristan would do all the paperwork since he felt it was more of his duty.
Arturo also informed him that Tristan had become even more distant. What Tristan told Marco made them become further apart. Marco was about to finish his work when he felt something faint. He knew that whatever was coming was trying to hide its aura. Marco got out his gun, which had silver bullets, and slowly walked out of his room and to his living room. Marco sensed the aura behind the door that led to the outside; he stopped. Marco waited for it to make the first move, but it didn't move.
After another ten minutes and nothing, he was getting impatient. Marco fired his gun; the bullet went through the door and hit what was on the other side. He ran through the living room and kicked the door to see who he hit. To his surprise, it was a mannequin with a suit. "What in the-?"
Then, Marco was pushed back to his apartment. The doors closed. He was roughly forced onto the floor; his gun slipped. His eyes widened when he saw Isaiah on top of him. Isaiah wasn't alone since Darren was with him. "What the hell are you doing!?" His neck was grabbed, and he was slowly being choked.
"Where are they!?"
"K-K-KHH! Th-They!?"
"Alyara and Emilia!?"
Marco looked confused. "Wh-What are you talking about!? I haven't seen Alyara! I don't even know who Emilia is!"
Darren growled. "Don't fuckin' lie! You are the only hunter that is close to Alyara! You probably were following her!"
"No! I accepted that Alyara would never see me the way she does with this dog!" His neck was being squeezed more. "I-I-I would never do anything to hurt her!" Isaiah growled; Rafael wanted to take control and take him apart. "What happened to her?"
Isaiah let Marco go. "Your damned hunters kidnaped her and Emilia! My pack and I haven't broken any laws or treaties! Why would they take her and Emilia away!?"
Marco was stunned. His heart was beating rapidly. "N-No, it can't be. How can you be sure that it was the hunters from my unit!?"
"I smelled their scents, and your unit is the only one close to my territory." Realization hit Isaiah. "These hunters were probably spying on Alyara and were waiting for their moment. Someone must have ordered them to"
It was silent between the three men. Marco was slowly processing what he was being told. "It was my dad."
"Tell us where he is," said Darren.
"I will go and show you where he might be keeping them. This is also a personal thing." He slowly stood. "I doubt he would take them back home. Another possibility is that my dad would take them to the prison.
The werewolves looked at one another; Darren nodded. "We will command the pack to go to."
"No, I don't think-"
"You don't get to decide, hunter! My pack will go. These hunters waged war when they took Alyara and Emilia!" yelled Isaiah.
Marco sighed. "Alright! Please tell your pack not to harm my friends and family. They were only taking orders from my dad. Promise me this, and I will take you where they might be."
"Fine, you better hope they're okay!"
Meanwhile, Alyara slowly began to wake up. Her vision was blurry initially, but she eventually regained sight. When her eyes were fully opened, she saw Emilia lying on the floor, unconscious. She crawled to her. "Emilia, wake up. Are you okay?" She gently shook Emilia, waking the young woman.
"Wh-What happened?"
"I don't know. All I remember was that we were taken." Alyara looked at her surroundings; it looked like a prison. The walls were made of brick, with a small window with bars. There was one lightbulb that lit part of the prison.
"They were hunters, but why would they take us? The pack hasn't done anything wrong," said Emilia.
A noise came from the door, making the women cringe and focus on the door; it opened. "Wh-Who are you?" asked Alyara.
The man was silent for a moment but answered her question. "You may not know or remember me, but I am Marco's father, Tristan."
