After ten wine spritzers Bumbarella awoke naked in a strange bed.
She was in a red hotel room somewhere over the rainbow.
The sounds of a man urinating in the toilet came from behind the bathroom door, slightly open so that she saw shadows moving on the carpet.
She reached into her pantyhose and felt for the pin deathalyzer weapon which had a cloak of invisibility,a genius invention of the guys back in the laboratory at Control.
He emerged from the pissoir and it wasn't a man at all.
It was the hairy ape she had seen leaning against the mahogany bar earlier in the evening.
"Oh bother,"our heroine muttered.
"You're awake,"said the gorilla.
"Yes, I am.And what did you drug me with?"
"I didn't,"he replied."You can't hold your liquor."
Bumbarella kept an eye on him while she reached for her clothes scattered on the floor.
If he made any sudden move she would need to see him coming.The kneck would be the best place to jab the needle;the poison would destabilize him quicker,no need to wrestle with a powerful ape in a sleazy hotel room painted in red hues.
He watched her silently in return.
"I really must be on my way,"she told him."I was supposed to meet someone last night.Too many wine spritzers did me in.I apologize for any inconvenience."
The Gorilla began to fiddle with his abdomen, strangely enough.
Then he began to pulsate and in a flash he was transfused into a tall blonde Herkuloid Type.
"I am Ramgar 5,secret operative,"he told her in a deep voice that sent shivers of delight through her sexual chords."I am the man you were supposed to meet."
"Well,you certainly weren't who I was expecting.Hand me my bra,would you,old fellow? "
As she settled herself in she looked up.
"Bumbarella,secret agent of the Realm.Our orders are to penetrate the stronghold of the Bannermen and rescue the Princess Zora Pratt."
