The woman muttered softly watching with eyes half open almost trance or uncaring like as the people continued as did her partner even after the girl was enveloped in the black like vines, pulled down falling through the ground as if plunged into water. Bubbles flew up from her open mouth trying to scream in her struggle against the force pulling her down with legs flailing almost like she was trying to run. Her body landed to the ground something she didn't fully expect and with her legs still moving this put her body into a stumbling run in a dark area oddly lit to resemble a hallway. She ran her red hair flying back as she tried to out run her shadows and find someone since she was still hearing the music that sounded to be from everywhere. It took little time for the ground to start cracking under her feet during her run with the claps in the echoing music matching her footfalls till finally shimmering glass filled the air around her sending her hurdling down. A scream escaped her as she tried to grab anything frantically spying reflections looking like quartz Lana reached out trying to find anything not wanting to die in this place feeling too real for her liking. When she thought nothing would open on the rough surface she yelped her body jerking to a stop and with eyes closed they reopened to look finding her hand had taken hold upon a white branch. "What is going on? This is still a dream, right? They shouldn’t feel this real. I need to wake up." She was sure she was dreaming but this dream felt too much like a weird reality. Having no idea if anyone could even help her she looked around into the black surrounding void doing her best to not let go of the white branch keeping her stationary. Returning her bright emerald green eyes to the branch a gasp escaped her throat and parted lips as the branch had begun to crack and snap with black vines looking like water growing out of the quartz cliff side wrapping tighter and tighter till it broke dropping her at what felt like a faster speed than previously. Opening her eyes and uncurling her body she kicked swimming up where it appeared a light reflected off the surface. When she resurfaced she didn’t get much time to catch her breath as the water thrashed roughly throwing her hard into what felt like grass yet after she finished coughing up some water her eyes opened not seeing the grass she swore she was feeling. Standing up taking in the surrounding area seeming normal enough except things appeared to be covered by eternal night or made of quartz. Gently pushing some loose hair back it was odd feeling the wind blow through her hair she blinked to draw her mind back to focusing on waking up or finding someone to help her wake. Returning her gaze up a sharp inhale caught itself in her throat seeing her dance partner standing tall, one hand behind his back, and heels together with his back straight. His other hand was held out with a glow around his body like a subtle aura and a soft smile on his lips. "I'm coming!" Lana shouted running now only to scream sliding to a stop startled by the shaking ground as a black then white and black walls rose rough and fast shooting up and blocking her view of her dance partner. The area after things became quiet again looked like the first but more like glass the walls did. Taking a step dust came up then another lead to more dust. The walls as she walked alternated between black and white slabs appearing to be smooth and reflective as glass or frozen water with an odd glow and shimmer radiating from them. She continued to walk then broke into a ran quickly trying to find her way out of what she learned after finding a couple then three dead ends was a labyrinth. She was finding it difficult to locate an exit or the center as she continued finding dead end after dead end continuing running. Lana only slowed when the music returned to her ears and her shadows came to sight following her every move before a couple moved on their own accord starting to dance on a white stone moving to a black as she followed to see what they were doing. As she neared the black stone the moving shadows shifted showing her the surface was a mirror, letting her reflection stare back at her like any mirror surface. Looking through this she saw the man dancing with her but it was the other her in a different dress with the same darker hair and darker cold eyes. Confusion entered the girl’s eyes seeing this. She couldn’t believe she was seeing this and started shaking as she watched the darker side of her dance with her partner. Stepping back Lana ran trying to find him to make sure he wasn't truly dancing with another or her darker self she regretted letting have any breathe of life. He had promised not dance with another she recalled till after their first dance of the night had ended. At that time her darker side should not had been there or was she mistaken? Shaking her head she couldn’t get distracted. She had to stay focused. Sliding to a stop at a split she took a few moments to think then picked the path on the right and ran onwards the dust from the ground started growing making it feel like the ground had moved out from under her. Lana looked around as she stood seeing the dancing pair above her on what must had been the level she’d been on. A multilayered labyrinth was new to her but seeing her dark self with him brought her body to start shaking with anger and fear over what her darker self could or might do. Taking off her body tensing with thoughts of what her other side could do. This caused cracks to form on the walls she passed then the glass colored like water of the deepest sea began to shatter and rain down as she ran undeterred from trying to find the center or exit hoping she could find him wanting to wake up. A frustrated scream escaped her throat from seeing just black and white causing more glass water to shatter and rain down as she continued running straight, even the dead ends shattered as she approached.
