He is literally at a loss as to what brought the sudden change. And helpfully expresses as such, so that us readers know he is clueless:

But even though she is being ‘dere’, Karin does not bluntly tell him the real reason. And since she does not tell him her feelings, Sasuke pretty much misses the point.

And is once again shown to be puzzled over the change of tune. One moment she says she isn’t going, the next she says she is going (and seems pretty eager to go at that), and then the next she is saying she is going purely out of coincidence? Just what is going on? What is prompting these mood swings? What’s up with her?

The reply seems quite obvious to us. Yet Sasuke’s “?” illustrates his lack of understanding of the matter quite eloquently.
Suigetsu on the other hand, who is aware of Karin’s feelings for Sasuke, doesn’t miss a beat and doesn’t buy her excuses, continuously teasing her over it:

This goes to show that despite her few dere moments, tsundere Karin has thrown Sasuke off-track since Sasuke does not seem to be aware of just why she wanted to go with them in the first place.
This, thus, seems to imply he may not be truly aware of the fact that he is the reason why. Though of course, this conclusion is only speculation on my part~ it would make sense, considering Karin does not treat him the way he is used to from girls who harbor feelings for him; and so, while her feelings for him are obvious to us, that’s mostly because we can actually look into her thoughts - something Sasuke cannot. All Sasuke probably sees is Karin having mood swings (since all she does is suddenly get physically close, but she never ever mentions that she likes him) lol
