Landmarks
Platt Mountain
A massive greyscale mountain range that spans across the center of the continent, reaching from the Saran Plains to the south, to the Ichino Plains to the north. Visible from almost anywhere in the Lands of Ralosia. Grey stone with sparse vegetation around. At peaks of the mountains are grounds used for Heartstone rituals.
Tunnels crisscross through the mountains, with some offering a slightly treacherous shortcut between the east and west. Many Densius populate the mountain, but many Ralosian, Mecarne, and Phantine communities have been created around the periphery of the mountain.
Ruben, Emer and Dimon call this place their home. For a time, Razan, Lucar, and their children lived on the mountain as well.
The Bog Woods
A wooded area at the southern tip of the Platt Mountains, not far from the Saran Plains. In Age 987, it was home to Chief Cmar's tribe, and was Nout's childhood home. Apes live in the woods, sustaining themselves off the bananas that grow there.
Tortusa
A port town on the western coast of the Lands of Ralosia. Home to many rugged individuals, seafarers, and some sky riders. Ekor and his hyena riders often visit this area.
Platt Plains
Plains to the west of Platt Mountain. Lush and green, leading out to the western coast. Tortusa, Veena's home, and Nagi's manor all exist within these plains.
Titus Plains
Plains to the east of the Platt Mountains. Named after Titus Forest, the largest forest in the world. Titus Forest, Ekanz Canyon, Challenger's Lake, and the Fighting Academy all exist among these plains.
Saran Plains
Plains to the south of the Platt Mountains. Much of these plains are dry and weathered, very unlike the lush green plains seen almost everywhere else. Many Phantine settlements live around oasis’s in this region.
The Ichino Plains
Plains to the north of Platt Mountain, extending to the frigid Ichino tundra and mountains farther north.
The Ichino region
The northern portion of the Lands of Ralosia. Generally, very cold and frigid. Populated by tundras, icy mountains, and the ice prison to the northeast.
Challenger's Lake
An eye shaped lake located to the south east of the Platt Mountains. Surrounded by small towns and docks. At the center is Challenger's Isle, the home of the Festival of Peace and the Fighting Tournament. At the end of every third year, the mayor of Dialtown holds the Festival of Peace here, inviting people from all across the world to join in the festivities.
Lupine Lake
A lake to the north east of Platt Mountain, located in between the Titus plains and Ichino Plains. Home to many wolves. Recently, a tribe of individuals who live off the land have tamed the wolves, use them in their hunts, and live around the lake.
Titus Forest
The largest Forest in the world. Home to the largest of the Phantine tribes, led by chief Theo. Waterfalls, dense dense forested areas and swampy bayous.
A large mountain is at the center of the forest, shooting past the trees, high into the sky. Many Densius live on this portion of the forest. A sky platform at the top of the mountain grants people passage between it and the skylands above. There are portions of the forest easily accessible to tourists, with trails leading through the forest up to the sky platform.
The Sky Lands
Floating land masses in the sky, believed to have been plucked from the earth and sent skyward by the Goddess. These lands are especially bountiful, with never ending wellsprings of water and abundant fruit and vegetable crops.
Individuals who have learned how to fly the birds that populate the sky can travel between the various sky islands as they wish. There are very few non Ralosians the live among the Skylands. Due to Phantine and Densius's higher bodyweight, there are fewer birds that can carry them. Thus, fewer of them have gone to the skylands.
Ekanz Canyon
A canyon to the northeast of Titus Forest, where various breeds of snakes live. Holes dot the landscape where snakes slither in and out of. Considered highly dangerous.
The Fighting Academy
A temple/dojo created by Dama in Age 966 with the intent of training people's combat abilities. Located in a town to the south of Titus Forest. Known Fighting Academy Students and teachers include Dama, Modi, Emil, Hita, Kika, Tyro, Fitsu, Sunno, and Khab. There are few non Ralosian students. Dama typically tells them to meet with Theo, Amethi, or Therma for proper training.
Funded through goodwill donations, bounties taken on by the students of the academy, and Dama's own fortune.
Weld Mountain
The Volcanic region located in the southeast, south of the Fighting Academy. The plains surrounding the Weld Mountains have lost their vigor and have been turned into rocky wastelands.
The Great Desert
A desert which takes up much of the southwest.
The Ice Prison
A prison located among the Ichino Mountains to the far northeast.
The Ralosian Seas
The oceans surrounding the Lands of Ralosia. Hundreds of islands of varying sizes populate the waters. Cook & Chill's Bandit crews all report to one of these islands. The ocean has been roughly mapped, but hasn't been explored beyond a certain point. Some sailors warn people from going to far out at sea out of fear that they'll fall of the edge of the world. 358Please respect copyright.PENANAGJSqUScUQa
