"Where's my room?", that was the first question I asked after we entered the house Denis had rented. The flight took too long, and I don't get it how Katya is still full of energy.
"You go upstairs, then the third door on the right," he explains briefly what I just nod my head at and sleepily walk upstairs. I open the door, already thinking about how I'm going to throw myself on the bed. I take off my T-shirt, go to take my shorts too, when I hear footsteps.
"To what do I owe this pleasure?" I become awake in a second when I notice Fedya in my room.
"I'm sleepy, so I'm really not in the mood for your games. Leave my room," I say coldly and head for the bed.
"I'm not planning on leaving my room, but I won't mind the company," I stare at him confused, expecting an explanation for him declaring it's his room.
"You missed the door. Your room is next in line," he explains it to me quickly, and I'm about to die of embarrassment. So that I don't have to tell him anything more, I escape from his room. As soon as I find myself on my own, I lock the door behind me and finally throw myself to sleep.
This has been a long day.

"I thought you were going to sleep all day," Denis is joking with me after I went downstairs following a long nap.
"And I see you were very bored without me," I say, alluding to the fact that he and Katya are watching a movie, while his best buddy is who knows where.
"Where are you going?" Katya asked me, confused, after noticing that I was walking towards the exit door.
"I'm going for a walk. Enjoy the movie," I winked at her before leaving the house.
Since the house is on the very shore of the sea, I decided to take a walk upon the beach, determined not to get lost this time. I find a slightly more isolated part of the beach, so I decide to stay there for a while.
I lean my palms on the sand and tilt my head to observe the stars. One such starry night from before appears in my head, and I indulge in memories.
What's the point of fighting?
"You remember?" I was so lost in thoughts that I didn't even hear his footsteps.
"I don't know what you mean," I say as I observe the waves in front of me.
"I get it. You repent." He sat down next to me, and I frowned at him.
"I've regretted nothing in my life," I glance at him once more before looking back at the restless sea. Sometimes I feel that way too.
Restless.
"Then why have you been avoiding me since then?" He proposed a valid question, and I simply shrugged.
"Because it was a huge mistake," I say calmly as if it's not about my life.
"Mistake?" He asked softly, and I nodded.
"Why?" He proposed a question I didn't expect, throwing me off course.
"Simply a mistake," I shrugged, not wanting to talk about it anymore.
"Then why do I crave to repeat that mistake?" I look at him, confused because I can't read his expression.
"Are you going home?" I get to my feet in a few seconds and ask him, avoiding answering what he asked earlier.
"That would be the smart thing to do. Denis will kill me for not showing up all day," he groaned because of my brother, just the way he has been doing it since I can remember.
"I do not think so. He spent the entire day with Katya. They are very odd to me like this," I made an obscure face, which made him start laughing.
"Why such a grimace?"
"Katya and Denis. Doesn't that seem weird to you?" I ask him genuinely 'cause the very thought makes my stomach twist.
"It surely wouldn't be weirder than some other things that have already happened. And after all, it is just their business," he made an eye connection, which I cut off.
I quickened my pace and tried to get out of his sight as soon as possible.
"I see you found Fedya." Denis chuckled, sawing us together, and that way obstructed my escape.
"What do you think about going to the city?", my mood improved significantly, so I eagerly consented.
"Where is Katya?", I asked him after realizing he was alone in the living room.
"She went to get ready for the going out. But please, Vika, hurry up. Don't be as usual, so I have to wait for you for a century" I rolled my eyes and went upstairs.
"You've finally arrived," Katya cheerfully said as soon as she noticed me in the room.
"I see you've decided to use my suitcase," I comment with a laugh as I see things scattered around the room. I can't even be mad at her for this.
"What did you choose?" I come nearer to see what she picked to borrow from me.
"How do you feel about it?", she showed me a short white skirt, which she clearly wore more times than me, and the well-known baby-pink T-shirt with ruffles, which luckily is not from my closet.
"Fabulous," I tell her honestly, though I never would wear it. We have different tastes.
Katya has always been the golden child every parent wished for, while I have always been a rebel. Even according to our fashion style, everyone knew which one was which.
I reach for plain denim shorts and a white T-shirt before heading to the bathroom. I tie my hair in a high ponytail and keep makeup to a minimum. Before I leave the safety of my room and join the others, I pick up a black leather jacket, at least as an accessory.
"Record," I catch my brother's quiet remark, but I don't really pay attention.
"Are we going eventually?"
