One of the biggest problems of the world is exactly what this quote states.
We are loving our things: our technology, our possessions, our idols...and not other humans.
We, instead, are using other humans. Using them for money, friendship, sexual favors, etc.
We are acting as if humans are mere objects to be used and discarded of. Merely there for our entertainment.
What we fail to care about when using someone is that humans have feelings & thoughts. What we do to people has an effect on them, good or bad.
People aren't meant to be used. People are meant to be loved, appreciated, respected, etc...people aren't meant for our entertainment or our benefit.
You are still a child if you use people for things. That's what children do. Real adults grow up. Real adults care. Real adults love others, not use them.
Lets all grow up and start acting right.
