Many things can be unrequited, but the most painful I have ever experienced is unrequited love. Unrequited love is simply when someone doesn't like you back.

How?
Because you put your hope and love into a person and they just don't feel that same hope or love back.
They just don't. And for them, it's as simple as that.
And if you're like me, you try to respect that while also trying to change it.
And if you're also like me, then you question yourself about what's wrong with you.
And honeslty, the only thing I have to say about this is that it sucks, it sucks horribly, and you have to pull through it. And it's not you, it's not them. It just is.
Just like you can't help who you like, they can't help who they don't like.
Sometimes it works out and you wear on them enough that they like you too, but most of the time that doesn't happen. Most of the time you go on in life and they never feel the same and you have to deal with it.
And that doesn't make it suck any less, but there's nothing you can do about it. People just don't like you, and you just have to learn not to like them as much.
