I stood there, looking down at the ground. I was about to cry as well, I felt as Pharaoh hugged me. I softly smiled and hug him back. It felt like forever since we've hugged, I don't even think we've hugged. I wipe my tears away from my cheeks and moved away from him.
" thanks Pharaoh" I smiled
" yeah no problem, he should of known this was coming. And he should of taken it like a man" he chuckled
" oh shush, or the same way. But your more understanding then him" I looked down at the ground then looked up
" whats going on" Ella muttered rubbing her hair with a towel
" lets just say I told Taylor and this asshat that were dating, Pharaoh is understanding. But Taylor didn't take it so well because he likes me" I shortly explained
" thats why I saw him crying, I'm sorry" she apologized and hugged me
" you did nothing, he's just used to getting whatever and everything he wants" I spoke and hugged her back
She let me go and smiled up at Pharaoh who rolled his eyes and ruffled her hair. He told us he would keep us safe as long as he's alive, even from emotional Taylor. I punched his shoulder as he growled at me, I roll my eyes and he changed back into a hellhound. Ella jumped around and told me we were going to practice more, groaning in hate I went back to my standing point. Ella spoke the next spell, Strike: Ha-Wi. Which I wasnt sure how to use.
" I have no idea either" Ella spoke and looked through the book on how to use the spell
" should we skip this one or wait until my mother can help me" I asked
" your mother? oh right, that would be a good idea." Ella agreed and went on to the next spell
" so what is the next spell" I wondered
" the next spell is Join: Hi-nehm " she spoke
I nodded and looked at the exploded apple, well I could definitely try that. I sighed and she looked at the exploded apples as well, I shrugged as she raised an eyebrow. I know it was going to be hard, but I had to try right? I move day hands from and towards each other before saying the spell, the apple pieces flew into the air just a couple of feet above the ground. They twirled in a circle as they combined into one, it fell to the stool where it first was placed earlier. Ella clapped her hands at me and turned the next page, it was a picture of a magician glowing. We looked at each other and watched the picture come off the pages. It danced around us as it told of a story.
" wait.." Ella muttered as she spoke something in a different language
Her body turned a whitish blue color that was see through, her words were coming out faster now. Once she stopped speaking she looked the same and the picture bowed down at her returning to the page on the book. I didn't know what just happened but I wasn't going to ask.She shook her head and smiled once more.
" even though I can't seem to control my other personality, I can control her powers. I can sense what the picture was trying to say" She spoke
" so what was it saying" I asked
" that you don't have time to learn every spell. " she answered
" is that it" I questioned
" thats what it told me to tell you" she shrugged and turned the page.
I didn't bother whining about that small bit of information that could be wrong. I stood back up and looked at the book, then I look down at my phone. It was getting late already. I put in back into my back pocket of my sweats and put my hair back into a ponytail. The next spell was open, I nodded and looked at the back doors. Even though the picture told me I wasn't going to make it I wanted to. I made small movements with my feet and my hands, taking a breath I spoke the spell. The doors creaked opened, I heard clapping behind me. I was getting better at controlling my powers, there was big hug behind me and a nuzzle of the her nose on my back. I move away from her and chuckle.
" lets go see what the family is doing" I asked and walked into the living room
Everyone was playing video games, Taylor was winning as always. I chuckle to see Ella go sit next to Dustin, he ruffles her hair and continues to play. I decided to sit next to her, my right hand was placed on her thigh. Which made her blush but shake it off as she smiled. They were playing Black Ops 3, which intrigued me and wanting to play it.
" you might not want to touch Ella like that Dustin or Cas will get mad" Taylor spoke not looking at us
" what do you mean" Dustin questioned
" Cas?" Taylor glanced at me which I glared at him
" someone is being a big baby because I chose Ella over him" I explained shortly
" wow Taylor, that's stupid. If Cas and Ella are dating Im fine with that, your making it seem like its Cas's fault for everything" Trevor chuckled.
" I thought she liked me" He admitted and paused the game
" I do, just as a close friend. Be glad I'm not dating you, cuz then you'd be a bitch if we ever broke up. And I picked Ella because I didn't realize until she kissed me that I liked her." I explained and made him feel bad about himself.
There was an awkward silence that we didn't want to continue. Dustin un-paused the game and they continued to play, which Taylor still continued to win. Ella looked at me and just hugged me, her head was resting on my chest. They weren't that big, not even comfy, her eyes were tearing up. I ruffled her hair and lightly picked her up onto my lap, she wrapped her arms around my neck and bit her right thumb as she watched the game. I glanced over at Taylor who was glancing at me from the corner of his eye, he shook his head but ignored Ella and me.
Everyone stopped playing video games once we all had to go to bed. After today I almost wanted to just collapse onto the couch and sleep. I quickly hate a small dinner before heading to my bedroom, my book was in its place and Pharaoh was out on the balcony sleeping in his bed. I close the door behind me, feeling a hand on my waist. I looked to the side of me to see Ella's head against my shoulder. Her hands playing with my long sleeved shirt, which made me blush.
" Ella, what do you want" I stuttered to get that out of my mouth
" just to sleep with you.. not like sexual or anything. Just cuddle" she whispered and made me chuckle
" oh god, thank the lord. If anybody found out we actually did something my parents would kill me, even with a girl" I explained and took my shirt off
I glanced back at her, she was blushing hiding her face under her sleeves. I smirk and take my stupid bra off, its uncomfortable if you where to bed. I get my pajama shirt and pull it over my head. Taking my sweats off I put on shorts that were really short on me, but I could sleep in them easily. I walk over to Ella and take her hands off of her face.
" come down, I'm a girl too remember" I whisper and fix the bed before sitting on top of the covers
" I know, your body is just better looking then mine" she muttered and sat next to me, her legs wrapped around my left one
" oh come on, that can't be true. " I shook my head and wrapped my left arm around her neck bringing her closer to me
" maybe, but I still like yours Cas" she admitted and buried her face into my lap
I roll my eyes and ruffle her hair as I lean back onto the pillow behind me. She moves to find a comfortable place around me and falls asleep in my arms. Which makes me just want to mess her up right there and then, man I think like a guy. I shake my head and move the covers above us. Before I fell asleep I heard Pharaoh chuckle at my weirdness, I smile and close my eyes.
The morning sun came into the room like an apocalypse trying to invade our sleep. The curtains were opened and Pharaoh was creeping up close to the bed, trying to be quiet so he could spook the two. Carefully he stepped onto the bed and placed his paws not he bed as slowly as possible.
" Pharaoh if your trying to wake us up its not working" I smiled and stood up
" ugh, really. You took the fun out of it, did you guys do it last night" he whispered the last part
" thats none of your business" I blushed and pushed him off of the bed
" well it is since you dreamt about having sex with her" he chuckled as Ella sat up in bed rubbing her eyes open
" morning you two, and don't worry I saw everything" she giggled and kissed my cheek
" guys can I have some privacy up in the brain. Like please" i asked and got out of bed as I crossed my arms and pouted
Ella jumped out of bed and hugged me kissing my nose and forehead. I smirked and glanced at Pharaoh who was shaking his head at us. I laughed before brushing her hair away from her face, I pecked her lips gently. Letting go I walked towards Pharaoh and placed kiss on his head, honestly he seemed like a third wheel. But he did;t complain, so did he like it? Ella followed behind me as we walked to the kitchen, my father and mother were talking already.
" did we miss a party or something" Pharaoh asked as they looked at us
" no, it was more of a serious subject" father raised an eyebrow and kissed mothers cheek
" really now, and what was that. Telling mom what kind of sex positions you'll give to her tonight" I teased and he growled at me
" oh shush Cas, he missed me. So maybe" she slightly blushed and chuckled
" mom, we have children here" I put my hands over Ella's ears as she rolls her eyes " but seriously whats wrong" I walked towards them to see papers on the table
" Ella is two years younger then you and she has more manners then you." Father teased back and winked at me " but good point" he added and used his magic to show us what was going on in Tartarus
You could see they were building something, a portal? It looked like a portal, or well more like a device to kill off the human race. Which didn't seem to be the best way to see things. I groaned and they explained that someone had to go down there and stop them, but that was impossible from our stand point. I wonder where our mother takes us this time.
A/N: stopped at a cliffhanger, and those are getting better for me. Any ideas, questions? I'm starting to bring back some action, but I still like telling their story and how the characters develop in it.
