In all honesty being face to face with a hell hound isn't the best way to start your morning. Persephone told me to get used to it, and be able to speak its language. Which got me confused, speak to it? Its own language? what is she trying to make me look like, an idiot?
" come on, this is taking longer then Intended it to. You probably want to go to Persephone don't you" I groaned and sat on the floor just looking into its yellowish red eyes.
" or want you to actually try" he spoke and chuckled at me
" you bastard" I growled and he just chuckled even
He raised an eyebrow as he coaxed be towards him, I couldn't help but want to rip him to shreds. I ran towards him not realizing had happened to me, he moved away from my way and made me run into a bush. I whimpered and shook my head.
" what did I turn into" I asked staying in the bush too ashamed to show my face to him.
" a panther if I'm correct" he spoke as his tail helped me out of the bush
" was that what you were intending the whole time Pharaoh" I asked and he noted his head
" once more, try again. But not out of angry, out of love perhaps" he asked
" would you like me to kill you" I gesture
" my tail can slice through anything if it wanted to, don't test me child" he growled as I backed up a bit
" yeah yeah yeah, or i'll die into millions of pieces" I continued for him and he rolled his eyes at me
I sat back in front of him and calmed down, remember what Persephone taught me. I looked at him and slowed my breathing down, he decided to lay down and smirk at me. I groan and then stop thinking, my mind needed to be clear. I sigh and think of my dad and my mom, my friends. Nothing couldn't possibly stop me now. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Pharaoh looking at me weirdly, I noticed I was shorter and bulkier. Looking down I had paws and I was black, I was about to freak out when I realized it would be better if I stayed clam to stay like this for a while. I smile and hug Pharaoh who growled the whole time.
" show Persephone kid" he smirked
" will do" I muttered and pranced my way into the house
All eyes were on me as I plopped myself on the floor and laid down. Hades looked at me and patted my head, he chuckled and looked back at the others.
" I didn't know you had a panther " Dustin freaked
" best decision for a pet" Trevor complemented
" Are you two kidding me " Jeremy raised an eyebrow, Duncan followed
" what?" Dustin asked
" thats our Cas right there" Taylor nodded crossing his arms
" wait thats Casper" Ella muttered and softly smiled
I stood back up and changed back into myself, I rolled my eyes and bowed. They all clapped for me.
" how did you do that" Taylor asked
" I listened to Pharaoh, he told me to calm down. What Persephone told me to do in the beginning. " I explained
" and you did well" Persephone cooed from Hades lap, she smiled and clapped her hands
I slightly blushed and sat down on the floor. I felt a small kiss on my forehead, Persephone had given me one. She told me I needed to practice still, I groaned and everyone chuckled. I called Pharaoh and he came outside with me, I sat down and didn't want to move. I was tired and they new it, but I needed to practice more. Or concentrate me.
" just calm down, they know your fine Cas" Pharaoh reassured me and made me smile
" thanks " I blushed
" you know, I used to be a human like yourself" he brought up
" really, what happened" I questioned
" I became Persephone's pet, more like guardian. I can change into anything I want to, she lets still change into my human form. But that's old business" He shook his head
" can I see it" I asked and tilted my head
" don't hate me" he suggested
" for sure, I would never" I admitted and crossed my legs looking at him
I folded my hands and gestured he do so before anyone saw. I watched as he got taller, his tail, fangs, and eyes stayed the same. I gulped and actually blushed. He wore mostly black, his necklace was of the Greek and Egyptian symbol for demon. I stood up and realized he towered over me, his hair covered part of his eyes. I wanted to just move it out of his eyes which made me look at him intensely.
" does someone have an eye for a demon" He purred
" shut up Pharaoh. Your just hot" I mumbled and blushed realizing what I had just said
" I'm hot, I doubt it. Well this is my human form, if Persephone sees me in this I might not come home for dinner. If souls see me like this they are allowed to do whatever to me, the rules of the underworld are horrible when a mortal comes into the picture" he explained and rubbed the back of his neck
" didn't Persephone said your mine now" I tilted my head and pouted
He chuckled and changed back into his hellhound form, I crossed my arms and started walking back and forth on the porch. He shook around and stood next to me, I guessed he showed no one his human form. I was glad he trusted me, but why me? I patted his head before sitting on the porch stairs, I watched as souls looked at me then walked by. The fence stopped them from passing through, there were so many which made me feel a bit depressed. If this is what Hades gives the souls after they die this is horrible. I heard Pharaoh lay down once more with his head in my lap, I roll my eyes and pet his head softly. The front door opened, which mad eye turn around and look face to face with Persephone.
" oh hey" I smile
" you guys have been talking fora while" persephone noticed and sat on the other side of me
" yeah, he's been helping me a lot" I smile and rest my head on her shoulder
" I'm glad my little pharaoh is in good hands now" she muttered and ruffle day hair
" wait really, I get to keep him" I gasped and could't help but smile
" well of course, I do have two others you know. I mean he is my best friend, and I want the best for him" she explained and patted his head.
" and my mom would be impressed with me if I brought home a hellhound and a panther" I raised an eyebrow and giggled
Persephone explained how she met him, it was like meeting anubis but a whole lot more spunk out of him. I laughed and smiled throughout the story, which I was glad to hear. After a while Hades left to do his job, Persephone went with him. Dustin,Trevor and Ella were sleeping in the living room, Jeremy, Duncan and Taylor were sleeping on the floor. I decided to be nice and want them to sleep on actual beds. Pharaoh helped me and picked them up, I put them to bed since Im to weak to carry them to bed. Once Ella was in I collapsed onto the couch.
" really I was the one carrying them" He exclaimed as I chuckled

" I've noticed, you need to get some meat on them girl" he teased and played with my hair
" I do, my mom told me to use magic you need to have a lot of energy since using magic drains your energy. I need to work out when I get home" I groaned and looked up at the ceiling
" and i'll be there to help you, and guard you as always" he cooed resting his head on the edge of the couch
" of course, i'll have my own bodyguard. Oh my god, you should come to school with me" I gestured
" oh hell nah, I am never going to that horrible place called second hell" he growled
" please, ill do anything" I whined
" anything" he raised an eyebrow
" well not everything, but maybe ditch school to hang with you and practice magic" I suggested

We fell silent once more, what made me awkward was that we were left alone together. Soon after he realized I was being awkward he changed back into his hellhound form and closed his eyes for sometime. I finally closed my eyes and slept on the couch for the night.
Once I woke up I saw Pharaoh looking at me, he was nudging at my face. I smiled and heard everyone get up at the same time, I decided to close my eyes and pretend Im sleeping when they walk by me.
Even though Persephone didn't teacher me any magic, she taught me how to change forms which I desperately wanted to do. And today we were going home, Pharaoh was coming with us as well. Once everyone walked by me I got up, fives minutes of extra sleep is amazing. We all ate breakfast before getting our things together, I hugged Persephone goodbye and made sure to see her again. Jeremy and Duncan had the other three not their backs, Taylor flew ahead of us. I jumped onto Pharaohs back as he changed into a horse.
We used the same gate we went through, we were finally on our way home. I wonder what mother would say to what I learned. And me mad that Horus didn't find a magician, but that could change once she meets Pharaoh.
A/N: hey guys so this is a really crappy book, I understand. I thought about the first couple of chapters in my head and thought it was a good idea. Now that I think about it its pretty bad.
