I wanted to add to that.
In that issue, I talked about how parents shouldn't make you think you should have to choose between them any anyone else. That is still very much true.
But I think parents like to use the parent card when it benefits them. For example: "I'm the parent. I pay the bill on that car and it's mine. I'll take it wherever I please, I don't need your permission." but in all reality, the car was 1. Bought for me, 2. Paid for every month my MY child support check, and 3. Is only needed when someone is trying to do something they shouldn't be doing.
It's my car and you aren't taking it 500+ miles down the road to do something you shouldn't be doing in the first place. You talk about the mileage and the gas all the time..."She lives all the way out there, that's a lot of gas." "You're running up the mileage on that car taking her home."...except when it benefits you.

And you try and take credit for the gas I BUY. Ask my best friend who buys the gas? She's present when I put MY card into the machine with the money I DONT GET BACK.

And then you throw a temper tantrum telling me you're the adult, you'll do what you want, it's your car, I have no right to judge you, I have no right to tell you what to do, I'm no better than you, little bitch, f* you, don't throw the bible up at me, etc.
I'm 18, and I'm tired of being the adult. But when it's convenient, you're the adult. And my stuff is yours, no matter whose it really is. And you pay for the gas my grandma(who I get my money from) technically pays for, and it doesn't matter how much gas is used or mileage is put on my car when it benefits you, but it matters when it doesn't benefit you.
I'm tired of it. Praise God I graduate high school in less than a month.
People shouldn't do people the way they do. Parents shouldn't be big childish babies. And teenagers should be able to be teenagers. But roles have always, and always will be, reversed. At least in my case.
