I think we categorize these moments of the lack of trying anymore as giving up and we call those who reach these moments weak.
But...are they? Or are they extremely strong?
Strong? How so? What kind of strength does it take to stop trying for something you want to try for?
I'll answer that one for you: A lot.
You see, with me, it's not that I'm giving up on someone. It's that I'm accepting that it'll never happen. There are certain things that are meant to be, I believe. And forcing things that aren't meant to be don't help anyone.
I'm not giving up, but rather, I am letting go.
It takes a lot of strength to decide that you have no reason to try anymore and to stop trying.
Before you say someone is weak for not trying anymore, think of the strength it took for them to not try anymore.
