In a bar miles away from the coliseum.
A man sits in front of a TV watching the fight between Supremeo and King Yafeu. He screams instructions to the King as if he could hear him.
"NOT LIKE THAT!"
"Dodge! Dodge!"
The man slams his hands on the table and screams, "THAT'S WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT BOY!!"
After the man makes his loud comment a voice screams towards him saying, "Amaro!!"
He turns towards the direction of the voice and says, "Sorry about that bartender! I just get excited when I watch the King fight!"
The bartender replies, "Relax Amaro! I know you're good for it. You and the Edson family practically built this town from the ground up! I was calling you because these droids are asking for you."
Amaro replies, "What droids?"
Two beat up worn down droids step out from behind the bartender and say, "We'd like to speak to you Mr. Amaro sir."
Amaro gives a confused look then laughs and says, "What is this? Want some autographs or a picture? Just wait after the fight guys."
Amaro sits and continues to view the fight. The droids tell him, "We're not here for that. Your all-seeing acquaintance sent us."
Amaro's eye twitches as the droid mentions this acquaintance. He tells the droids, "So Yafeu is letting him have visitors down there now?" The droids reply, "Yeah something like that..."
Amaro stands up and turns around then smiles at the droids and tells them, "Well not like King Yafeu would lose this fight anyway. I was just waiting to see how he'd win this fight! Hahaha! Let's go!"
Amaro throws money on the table for the bartender then exits with the droids.
Inside the coliseum.
Electricity cracks in the air from King Yafeu's swords.
Fumes from Supremeo's flame ignited fists light up the skies.
Both skills and technique from the combatants leave the audience with their jaws wide open.
Yafeu unleashes a barrage of attacks against Supremeo with his swords only to be met with blocks.
Sparks fill the air as Yafeu continues his onslaught.
A sword is caught with Yafeu's left hand gripping its hilt. Supremeo ignites his right fist with flames and begins to bludgeon the King. Loud echoes ring as Supremeo strikes the King.
FWAM!!!
The first punch bruises.
FWAM!!!
The second punch rips the King's skin off drawing blood.
Supremeo raises his fist to land a third blow, but quickly King Yafeu releases his left sword. He strikes Supremeo with his right sword strong enough that it blows up in his face.
Yafeu jumps back to a safe distance. Blood and bone now visible from Supremeo's flame ignited fist.
The virus coursing through Yafeu's veins begins to heal his face. The King smiles through his wounds and tells Supremeo, "That's a pretty neat move there. Fireball hands, HaHa! Only one thing though."
Supremeo replies, "What's that?"
The King answers, "It makes it seem like your creator was a child! Fireball hands haha! What a cornball piece of...!"
Before Yafeu finishes his sentence Supremeo dashes in towards Yafeu.
King Yafeu's liquid metal arm begins to move upward to Yafeu's neck then shapes itself up forming a helmet covering his head. As it closes a menacing look is seen. The King tells himself, "Yes! This is what I want. Show me what you got!"
The helmet closes, and its eyeholes glow a radiant red. As Yafeu revealed this technique with his armor Supremeo rams an inekium armored shoulder intended for the King's jaw.
At the last second Yafeu blocks the strike. He simply put his hand up and blocked the blow.
Supremeo speaks to him and says, "Not a fan of my inekium flame fist? How about a sword fight then?" Supremeo pulls out an inekium broadsword then swings and misses as Yafeu ducks underneath Supremeo's strike.
The King smiles through his helmet and tells Yafeu, "Haha yes!! Let's go! Your broadsword vs my dual katanas!"
King Yafeu draws his swords from his metallic arm and the two combatants charge toward each other.
Supremeo swings his sword and it's met with the King's blades.
A loud KLANG echoes through the arena. Wows and cheers follow next as the two combatants continue to swing their blades.
Bast is in the stands with the others and says to Sarah, "Oh wow looks like Supremeo is pushing the best out of him. Now the fight is even more in our favor!" Max hears this and asks her, "What do you mean?" Bast explains to him by saying, "The Machine virus has many layers to it. What we called liquid metal was only the first step. What you're seeing now with the intense speed and blue lightning emanating from him is when you make him fight seriously. To adjust to the speed and intensity the user burns through, the metal hardens to proportions and feeds the bearer back strength and speed 10 fold! The user's will activates another mode to the virus coursing through his veins. That's why he's called the machine King. A normal machine has its physical limit built in. Yafeu's mechanism has limitless!"
Sarah says to Bast, "Did you say his will activates the other mode?" Bast replies, "Yeah and with him being your brother I'm sure you already know. Yafeu always wins. He doesn't believe in losing. With that mindset and with the virus as a tool in play. He's unbeatable!"
The crew looks on as the battle intensifies.
The swords collide with each other while Supremeo attempts to shoot King Yafeu with lasers from his panoptes lens covered eyes.
But the King dodges the blasts. He tells Supremeo, "Wow I hope you're having a fun time because I am! It's been a while since I had a workout like this!" Supremeo replies annoyingly, "Workout? I thought you asked for a fight? Well, I guess all you have been doing IS working out, with all that running and jumping. I was beginning to think you were scared to attack!"
The King lets out a laugh and says, "Ha! If you want me to attack! Then let me attack!"
King Yafeu dashes in Slashing away at his opponent. This time then blows come with more speed and force.
The King runs his blade towards Supremeo's chest. Supremeo raises his arms to soften the blow. As the blades glide across his arms sparks fly temporarily blinding his vision.
Supremeo panics and turns on his force field tech. King Yafeu reaches for a compartment in his belt and throws 3 ball snapped objects down to the ground. They explode and smoke begins to fill the arena floor.
Maxwell screams, "Oh great! Now we can't see all the action!" Bast replies, "Don't worry we've got something for that." Bast hands the crew goggles to see through the smoke. Zachary holding the headphones replies, "oh snap! These are sweet!"
Supremeo turns on his night vision. He searches for the King. But in front of his eyes, he's nowhere to be seen. Then Supremeo looks up and sees King Yafeu ready to launch a strike with his dual katanas while he's in the air.
Unknown to the King, Supremeo has a fully charged star cannon blast ready for King Yafeu. He unleashes the blast without hesitation.
The blast rips through the King. But to Supremeo's surprise, King Yafeu doesn't show any signs of pain. Supremeo takes a closer look at King Yafeu. To his shock, it's as if he hit a hologram of his opponent.
Then Supremeo hears the King's voice. It says, "You like that? It's an after image. It only activates once I get to moving at a certain speed."
Supremeo looks behind him and to his surprise, his panoptes lens shows 13 targets in the smoke. He looks in front. Another 10 target registers.
To his side, another 14 show up. Supremeo thinks to himself, "Gotta find the direction the voice is coming from and attack.
As soon as Supremeo says this to himself all targets jump to attack.
Supremeo scans the incoming targets. Within the smoke King Yafeu tells Supremeo, "Just what I thought."
Supremeo turns in the direction of the voice. And a katana comes flying at him. It hits Supremeo's force field and vanishes, revealing to be an after image. Another comes katana comes behind it. Supremeo ignores it and that proves fatal.
The second katana was real. It breaks through Supremeo's force field, shattering it. Then impales itself onto the left side of Supremeo's chest.
The smoke on the arena floor clears partially as Supremeo is knocked on his back.
Maxwell and the crew gasp as they see this.
King Yafeu emerges from the smoke still holding his other katana. He walks toward Supremeo while he's still on the ground.
He points the katana toward him and tells him, "You're all tech and no technique." The King then lowers his weapon and says, "But judging by your armor that's not your fault. It looks brand new. Everyone here is battle hardened worn down and dirty. But we've got experience in protecting and fending for ourselves. You'll get to my level one day" Yafeu extends his hand to Supremeo and lets out a cocky grin he accepts. The King lifts him up, and the crowd cheers! Various statements from the audience can be heard. Statements like
"King Yafeu never loses!!"
"I thought he had him!"
"Wow, I'll remember this for the rest of my life!"
Were all said and spread like wildfire to the few who didn't catch the match.
Standing side by side with the King Supremeo says to him, "I thought you said you'd take it easy?" King Yafeu replies, "Sorry about that. Just trying to give the people a show. They haven't seen me perform for them in a while if you know what I'm saying?"
King Yafeu raises Supremeo's hand in as a sportsmanlike gesture for the crowd. Bast looks over to Sarah and says, "See I told you it would be okay."
Yafeu looks to Supremeo and says, "We'll talk about your issues with Amaro once we head to the castle."
The attendees begin to run down toward the arena floor to greet both of the combatants.
Droid citizens and human citizens alike surround Supremeo asking him what seems to be 1 million questions by the minute. The King laughs and plays with the citizens of Avalon as well.
Supremeo tells the King, "Pardon me this is kind of insane. One minute they were cheering for my head to be cut off my body. And now they're celebrating me!?"
King Yafeu replies, "Haha! The citizens of Avalon love a good fight. A gladiator or soldier is considered one of the toughest and most respectable jobs around here.
The celebration is cut short. A series of explosions near the castle of Avalon happen shocking all who occupy the coliseum.
Supremeo looks to the King and sees him already staring back at him. He sarcastically tells the King, "What are you looking at me for? Everyone we came with is here. It looked like the first blast came near the castle. Right below it."
Once Yafeu hears this he flies out of the arena instantly. Supremeo follows right behind.
He asks the King, "So what is it?"
King Yafeu replies, "It's a long story. I might need your help on this one, and you're in luck."
Supremeo replies, "Why do you say that?"
