I was trying to think of something interesting to write about for this, but my life has been pretty boring.
Not boring like I’m not doing anything, because I’m doing a lot, just boring like there’s nothing major to write about.
I did watch this video about breathing during an anxiety attack, which I get sometimes. It was basically saying how taking huge breaths in opens your chest allowing your heart rate to increase quicker.
So by focusing on making your exhales longer and more controlled it regulates your heart rate and calms you down faster.
I’ve been doing this all the time now, not even when I’m anxious. I feel like it helps keep my focus and relax me a bit.
