This one talks about periods so if that makes u uncomfortable… um idk, don’t read it :D
I was Clara in my studios production of The Nutcracker a few years ago, so I was there for 12+ hours 😂 it was during covid, so they had to film it in pieces instead of with an audience. I got five minute breaks in between each scene to eat or stretch or whatever.
One scene I had to use the bathroom. Let this be known that I had tights, a leotard and a WHITE NIGHTGOWN on.
Then I noticed ThaT had started At the worst time possible. I literally had two minutes to be back on stage 😭Luckily I came prepared, so I just had to wait till my next break.
The only problem was, the scene I had to do was the one where I had to sit on the thrown and watch the waltz of the flowers.
The costume wasn’t mine, and I literally couldn’t handle the fact that I could ruin the freaking Clara costume that we’d had for years…
So yeah that was awful.
the other time is when we were on an airplane. I was definitely not prepared for that lol.
