Clairsentience is the most dynamic and interesting extrasensory ability to ever be studied by the AVPSI and others alike. The very nature of clairsentience opens the door to many aspects of sensations outside the immediate sense of one's physical self, and through these connections lies many undiscovered strings of nature and experiences. When many humans hear this phrase, the similar term empath usually comes to mind, though empath and clairsentience share no direct definitions with each other. While Clairvoyance and Clairaudience envelops the psionic reaches of sight and sound respectively, clairsentience embodies the sensory depth of both physical and/or emotional sensation. This implication means there are actually two types of clairsentience, which will be referred to as Type A and Type B. Much like its sister-abilities, clairsentience also has the same type of variation in data integrity (regarding range, simple versus advanced, and reference of time (18 hours forward or backward)).21Please respect copyright.PENANABAtDdn8Ddf

This particular section will only cover Type A Clairsentience, which is clairsentience as it only relates to physical sensation rather than emotional sensation. The AVPSI are interested in those who are clairsentient, whether Human or Altiri. Much more data is available on Type B Clairsentience than Type A, because it seems that Type A Clairsentience only seems to be triggered in very specific circumstances. This circumstance involves two or more nodes of people to be telepathically linked together prior to triggering the ability. The ability is not easily controlled or suppressed consciously. The highlight is that those telepathically linked share their sight, sound, thoughts, and physical sensations, as well as emotional. With emphasis put onto physical sensations, if nodes A and B are telepathically linked, and either one of them sustains an injury or rubs across a certain fabric, that physical sensation is instantly transferred and shared by the other node (in real time only).21Please respect copyright.PENANA0orMdpntC7

Through the same method of study (examinations of Altiri/Human Telepathy over time), it was also determined that in order to share physical sensations between two people telepathically linked, both must be capable of feeling and interpreting the brain-wave information that is transmitted via the Cora sector - as it happens. The examples that most easily explain this are the biological and slight genetic differences between a man and a woman. A man and a woman both have different body parts that are set apart by their biological gender. One example question this raises is: if Node A (the male) and node B (the female) attempt to share in any manner physical sensation between biological parts that only one of them has, will that information be transferred in the process? Using live examples that the AVPSI had access to thanks to the purge experiment of SM and #24, it was further confirmed that this is a physical impossibility. The factor relates to body parts and internal organs, as well as other sensations native only to one node. Certain internal functions of the body only pertaining to one person also do not become shared by the other. If it isn’t possible to feel by both nodes in telepathy, that node will not experience the sensation altogether. This strangely includes the phenomena of headaches when experienced by #24. #24's headaches are certainly a possibility for SM in theory, yet that kind of pain does not carry over to SM in a telepathic connection. The reason for this is not entirely understood.21Please respect copyright.PENANALVE2LaDqqi

The reason this must be mentioned, is that the AVPSI will not conclude that detecting or sensing the physical sensations of others as a lone clairsentient Scion (not telepathically linked to another) is impossible, despite having zero observational evidence to support the idea. With certain limits in place with Type A Clairsentience, there may be a manner in which these limits could be theoretically bypassed. To date, the Scryers also still search for anyone in the world with Type A Clairsentience. Since the ability does exist in telepathy, it may also exist without telepathy in the wild, even in someone who is not a strong Scion such as an Altiri. With all this said, further investigation into Type A Clairsentience has been stonewalled, so no new information has been uncovered on this process for a very long time.21Please respect copyright.PENANAbsLjmZZlS1
