Mental Synchronicity is a more recently discovered sub-ability that can be triggered between two telepaths who have an active connection. It is more accurate to refer to this as a kind of special moment than a special ability. The AVPSI was only recently able to learn of data regarding this phenomena from two Altiri groups who have an ongoing purge experiment (ongoing meaning their human experiment is still alive at the time of this report). Only two reports of mental synch were made recently, one of which came from experiment #24. While this is possible to occur between humans as well as Altiri from a theoretical perspective, mental synch only really happens when two connected telepaths temporarily understand and express 99% of all shared thoughts, emotions, and physical sensation. Prior to a moment of mental synch, the preliminary requirement involves a strong level telepathic connection, Grade B or higher. In addition, in order for mental synch to be viable, both telepathic nodes must express the exact same kinds of thought waves in the exact same moment of time frame. These thought waves are classified as a collection of basic thoughts, thought patterns, emotions, vivid imagery if there is any, and physical sensation (such as level of stress or lack of stress). The cause of this can be difficult to understand, but the effect is more distinguishable. During a moment of mental synch, both nodes have a highly increased awareness of each other’s own senses. To be more specific, both nodes will suddenly experience a confusing moment in which the mind and body of the other individual is fully part of that person’s senses. In effect, it is almost like body swapping. Node A and Node B suddenly find themselves in the bodies of each other through swapped overriding sensory information from each host, creating an illusionary effect that they have swapped bodies entirely. This effect has no other change on anything such as the connection itself, and typically lasts for less than a minute or two when invoked. It is also difficult to trigger, let alone maintain, since it is only natural that two different people cannot maintain the exact same level and integrity of all thoughts and emotions all the time. The difference in how both nodes may react to the beginning of the phenomena itself may be enough to end mental synch. Mental synch only lasts for as long as all thoughts, feelings, and emotions are generated on the same baseline, at the same frequency, and at the same intensity level with the same patterns. When it is invoked, both nodes experience a sensation that they are interchangeably each other as well as themselves, as if both are one and the same person for as long as the synchronization lasts. Initially confused by the difference between general telepathy and mental synch, the AVPSI asked Scryers and Altiri what this difference was supposed to be. Telepathy itself is a powerful psionic ability allowing two nodes to share their sensory information to a great level. Between two Altiri, this detail level is at its most powerful. However, even with this telepathy involved, there is unseen detail loss. That which distinguishes the separation of identity between two people - is the difference in how both persons generate thought about any subject matter, when they think, how they think, how intensely they think and feel, and to which chained complex thoughts are connected during each moment. However, when two different people simultaneously express the same amount of thoughts of the same exact subject matter, at the same intensity level, in the same patterns, in the same frequency level, with the same associated emotions that also have the same intensity level, and all of this is done during an active telepathic link, only then can mental synch be triggered (which is an automatic uncontrollable process in itself). Because of this, the short-conclusion about the properties of mental synch can be determined; both nodes are essentially acting as the same person since so many thought waves are generated in the same way at the same time, which allows the identity of both perceived parties to merge into one. When these identities merge, the brain can become confused into thinking that all sensory information from both itself and the other node are also one and the same, resulting a kind of overlap that does not naturally occur in normal telepathy. This overlap increases the detail level of all sensory information since the body inherits the physical sensations of the other body as well as itself. Still very little is understood about mental synchronicity, mainly because there are few opportunities for it to happen naturally.
