Roy's P.O.V
"Mom! Don't leave me, please, I promise to behave! I'll study, I will never complain about my piano lessons! Please, mom!" I held on to my mother's skirt dragging me along as she walked. She pulled my hand from her skirt and walked ahead.
"Dad! Say something!" I ran to my father.
"Listen, son, she is no longer your mother, right now, it's just you and me." He said as he rubbed my head.
"No...she is still..." I turned my head to my mom and watched her as she drove away. Leaving us.
Now
The memories of my mom began filling my head. I can't lose Emma too.
"Emma!" I called out to her but before I could run after her, someone grabbed my hand stopping me. I turned my head to see my father's face.
"We are leaving." He said.
"No, please Dad, let me go!" I pleaded.
"I have already booked our flights, we are leaving tomorrow." He said in a tone of indifference.
"Dad! Please...Just this once...and I promise, to do whatever you want me to." I said pleadingly and he looked at me silently before let me go.
I immediately ran out of the house. I couldn't lose her, I had to tell her. I searched everywhere but the was no sign of her. I decided to go to one place, that I knew she would be, the hill.
I ran without stopping. It was then that the rain began pouring and there on top of the hill I spotted her in the rain, soaked. I rushed to her side. Taking off my jacket I covered her with it she didn't resist.
"Emma, I am sorry...I didn't mean to lie to you...please..." I spoke but the words couldn't come out. I wanted to say something else. 'please don't leave me' I wanted to say that I loved her and I wouldn't let her go, but she silently continued to sob, ignoring my presence.
"I LOVE YOU EMMA!!" I yelled out in the rain and at that moment, I felt the rain stop for a second. I finally said it. "I love you very much so--"
Emma abruptly got up and she said "I hate you." before walking past me throwing my jacket off her shoulders. The way she said those words broke me, she was hurting. I wanted to stop her but I couldn't.
She left. Leaving me alone. Why? Why must the things I love be taken from me? I stared up at the rain as it poured down. I couldn't help but smile bitterly.
