I get up at the break of dawn and go to meet Lindsey infront of her hut as she is one of the few that get up this early. " alright everyones asleep we are going to go out of camp let's go" I state as I lead her out of camp down the beach out of view and stop and drop my bag with water and nuts before facing her.
She swings a punch at me but I move my head in time and I grab her wrist roughly and put it behind her back she tries to punch me with the other fist and I trip her putting her on her ass.
She kicks me in the shin and I jolt in pain for a moment. She gets up and pushes me in the chest hard and I quickly spin her around and hold her in place tighly.
She tries to break free when she elbowes me in the ribs and I abruptly push her to the ground. She lands on all fours roughly.
"Your going to need to fight harder than that if you want to keep surviving or just continue to let everyone else do your dirty work. I state condescending.
She stands up and brushes the sand off her scracped knees and she looks at me and I see her jaw tense and her eyes harden as they bore through me as anger builds like a ticking time bomb. Looks like I struck a nerve. "Lets continue" I say sternly.
She punches my shoulder hard and then goes to punch my face but I block and she tries to kick me but I grab her leg and push her to the ground. She sits up and tosses her hair out her face and glared at me, her fists are clenched and she's breathing heavy now
" How the hell is this suppose to help if you just knock me down each time" she yells furiously. "So you can get up and push back harder" I say sternly walking toward her. She suddenly trips me
and I fall forward to the ground. She gets on my back and attempts to restrain my arms behind my back, but I flip her over and she winces in pain when her back hits the ground and I pin her wrists to the side of her hard and looks at me fearfully and unguarded for a moment before she composes herself. I let go abruptly and get up and lend her a hand. She rubs at her wrist a second looking at me confused before she takes it. "Thats enough for today, the goal is to make you stronger, not to drain you. Well continue tomorrow at dawn" I say calmly. I toss her my water bottle and she takes a swig before she angrily heads back to camp. I follow not far behind giving her some space to cool off.
