I enter my hut and lay on my Pom leaf bed in my hut and think how everything started look up for me and starting find peace. "Roman, how is it going over there" my boss Luther says as I'm on one knee adjusting the water pressure on the taps in the shower house to stop a leak as I'm kneeling in a puddle of water. "It's comming Along sir" I reply confident. "That's good cause I'm really missing showering right about now it's been 2 days already, if only you could of fixed it yesterday" he teases. I smirk "sorry sir I had somethings to attend to" I inform happily. "Yes, I know oh to be young again" he boasts happy."So what did she say, are you two officially together now, your just settleing on her?" he urges curiously. I stand up and wipe some water off my face and set my wrench down seriously. He looks at me concerned for a moment "yes she we are, were serious no more one night stands" I say with a ridicules smile and he pats me on the back pleased. "Good for you Roman you deserve some happiness finally, you had it so hard losing your mother and taking care of your father your aunt not being around much" he compliments. "Thank you sir" I continue smiling. Then see Diana "hello sir, think I can have my boyfriend back now". she teases and grins as she comes and gives me a big hug that turns into a kiss and I look at her completely greatful an happy.

I lay here and think to myself how long will it take before I stop thinking of her everytime I close my eyes at night. Her  face always full of excitement and her bright green eyes and how I felt when she had her head on my chest, the adrenaline rush I would feel whenever we were together. Now all I can do is wonder how long until I forget how I screwed it all up.
