They carefully lift him as if he's breakable. Lindsey is watching them carefully. She doesn't let go of my shirt as I help her up I put a arm securely around her as he slowly walk behind them. As we are back to where everyone is standig outside their huts with shock on their faces staring at his dead body. "Oh my god .." Erika says quietly as her voice cracks as she begins to cry.
"What the he'll happend" Sam speaks up in shock as his face darkens then soften in remorse when he sees Lindsey, at this moment everyone's eyes are now on us. I feel Lindsey stiffen and not making eye contact with anyone as she just looks like she wants to be anywhere else. She burys her face in my chest as if to hide from their prying eyes locked on her. Jake picks up on it right away. "Alright everyone get back in your huts" he shouts protective. He looks at me and nods assuringly and mouths thank you before he and Roman head to the dark forest. I take her to clean the blood off of her gently as she lets me and just stares in the distance as if she's a million miles away. We go back to my hut and I give her a fresh shirt and she turns around and puts it on while I glance at Lily to see that she's still sleeping. Lindsey then lays down and wraps her arms around herself uneasy. I lay down behind her and hesitate to put my arm around her unsure. She senses it and takes my hands gently yet firmly and pulls it to rest on the side of her face as she settle down and closes her eyes.
