George’s P. O. V:
“Jason, come on let’s go and eat,” I called out to him.
No response.
“Jason?”
Still no response.
I tugged at his shirt sleeve and he suddenly looked around as if he had just woken up from a bad dream. He seemed to be doing that a lot, recently. Had he lost his mind?
“What’s wrong Jason?” I asked and he replied, “Ah, it’s nothing”
“Uh, Jason, unfortunately I’m not dumb and I know you like the back of my hand. Something’s wrong, you can talk to me you know that right?” I said.
“Well, actually there is something I wanna talk to you about,” he said and asked me to follow him. We went to a quieter part of the school and just stood there in silence for a while. “So what is it, Jason?” I started.
“Um… You see, I’m in sort of a difficult situation right now. Ms Emily, she made a bet daring me to win her over in a month. She says I’m to make her fall in love with me by this month or she will leave the school. As much as I love her, I don’t want to be selfish and risk the academic performance of the other students,” he said.
I knew it! I knew that she had feelings for Jason!
“Jason, I don’t think this is something to mope around for. In fact, I think this is a new ray of hope for you. You’re getting closer to her heart. I sense love here, Jason. If she didn’t like you and thought of you as a burden, she would have left school immediately without even bothering to tell you and make a bet. Keep this up, she’s yours,” I said.
“Yeah but what am I supposed to do about that, huh? It’s not like I can just kiss her whenever I want. How can I win her heart if I am to keep staring at her from a distance?” he asked back.
“Well about that, all you can do is be patient but in any case, don’t lose hope because her actions are clear bits of evidence that she likes you,” I said, calming him down and we started walking back to the cafeteria.
Janet’s P. O. V:
I saw George and Jason going out to eat. It had been a while since the three of us ate together. So I went after them to ask them to eat lunch together but they didn’t seem to be going to the cafeteria.
They are probably going to the library.
But they didn’t go there either. Curiosity got the better of me and I followed them. They went to a lonely place, I hid behind some bushes and listened to what they were saying.
Yeah I know eavesdropping is rude, blah blah blah.
Their conversation was not so interesting. Then why should they go all the way out there? Just then Jason said, “She says I’m to make her fall in love with me by this month or she will leave the school. As much as I love her, I don’t want to be selfish and risk the academic performance of the other students.” George then said, “Jason, I don’t think this is something to mope around for. In fact, I think this is a new ray of hope for you. You’re getting closer to her heart. I sense love here Jason. If she didn’t like you and thought of you as a burden, she would have left school immediately without even bothering to tell you and make a bet. Keep this up Jason, she’s yours.”
Even if I try not to be mad at that lady, she keeps getting on my nerves.
She went so far as to make a bet?
I guess she must be feeling really good having Jason going head over heels for her. I’ll resort to vicious methods to teach her a lesson.
Wait a minute. I think I sound too desperate! Whatever; all is fair in love and war.
Even I saw the little sparks flying between them. It was almost too evident as the Jason who couldn’t even get past one digit marks in math progressed to getting distinction grades. In class, even the stupid Luke could tell that Ms Emily was giving Jason more attention.
But to think that she’d almost indirectly threaten Jason to love her was a surprise even to me. And George? How on earth could he possibly think that the challenge was a good thing? He was ready to give ideas to Jason about how to make Ms Emily fall for him! Couldn’t any one of them understand that once they started being together, there was no way the dense headed society would welcome them? Mr Jacob’s reaction was more of my concern as he could get pretty violent at times.
A/N: A really short one, I know very well. The next will be a lot longer, don't worry :) 882Please respect copyright.PENANAVCCRiYKoJa
Well, so George is a supporter of Jason getting together with Emily while Janet is against it. Emily has already made a daring move. What's left is Jason's response. What's it gonna be?882Please respect copyright.PENANAYQ0pDECSTh
So how have ya'll portrayed Janet so far, eh? Lemme know in the comments :)
