It was early.
So early the Private Alice was wondering why the Sergeant didn’t yell for them to wake up.
Confused, she slid out of bed and took a look at the window.
“Guys!” she yelled shaking one of her recruits. “Guys wake up!”
“What?” one mumbled.
“Its snowing!”
“So?” asked another.
Alice frowned. “Come on guys! Don’t you want to go outside and play in the snow? We can build snowmen, go sledding…Oh! We can even go ice skating now that the lake is frozen!”
The rest couldn’t believe their ears. Who on earth does that in the military? Not willing to get out of the warm comforts of their beds (even thought it was anything but comfortable), they groaned.
“Huh? You guys aren’t gonna go?” she asked.
“No!” they groaned.
She huffed. “Fine! I’ll just go by myself then!”
The recruits felt a gust of cold wind enter the room then the door slammed shut.
“Do you really think she’s gonna do all what she said?” asked one.
“Are you gonna think about it or go to sleep?” asked another.
Not hearing another word they all dozed of until…
“ALRIGHT YOU LAZY IDIOTS! GET UP!”
