It nighttime on their first day in the army camp and all the recruits were extremely tired from the pushups they were forced to do in the blistering heat while he was sitting in his car in the shade watching them.
“Has everyone learned their lesson?”
“Yes sir.”
“Wow! You guys still have some spark in you.” he smiled shaking his crossed leg up and down. “A hundred more.”
They all groaned.
“Two hundred more.”
They groaned again.
“Thre….”
Soon they were on the ground doing the grueling exercise again. Sergeant Darth got out of his car and placed his boot on one of the recruit’s back.
“Yep. All of you are pussies but it looks like I would be having a lot of fun whipping you to shape.” He said pressing his foot down on the unfortunate recruit.
Finally they were done with their grueling exercise he told them to stand up.
“Looks like we had fun boys.”
They groaned.
“What didn’t you have fun?”
“No sir.” One moaned.
“No? Okay then a…”
“YES SIR!” they roared.
“Good. NOW ALL YOU IDIOTS FLY OUT OF HERE!” he barked.
Soon the field cleared leaving the female recruit who was still standing. Stomping towards her he noticed she fell asleep standing and groaned.
“And this is why you don’t bring children to the Army. You end up being a babysitter with no experience.”
Although he muttered, it was loud enough to wake the unfortunate recruit who looked around in confusion.
“Huh? Where did everyone go?”
He glared at her. “What’s your name?”
“Oh. My name?”
He gritted his teeth. “Yes. What’s your name?”
“Alice Michelle Loveheart.”
His eyebrows shot to his forehead. “Loveheart.”
She nodded.
“Was your father drunk when he gave you that name?”
“No but my mom was sober when she put it on my birth certificate.”
He was starting to get annoyed. “I told you idiots to get out of here.”
The look of realization appeared on her face and there was silence with the crickets chirping. Impatient, he came closer to her and cocked an eyebrow.
“Well?”
She smiled. “Sure was a lot of them huh Serge.”
He reached his limit. “GET THE F*CK OUT OF HERE!”
She bolted leaving a ‘Yes Sir’ behind as a parting gift while he stood there gritting his teeth.
