All eyes are on us as we walk exhasted and beat down. I spot Jake talking to kira briefly then he notices us and comes running. "Linds oh my god, are you okay, I was so worried sick" he says alarmed as he pulls me for a hug that ended quickly. She remains calm as a tear or two stroll down her face without me knowing and Then he turns to me and his expression hardens "What happend out there, why is my sister full of blood and injured and why do you all look like you put up a fight" he demanded. "Because we did, their leader Josephine didn't want to except the terms we offered and things went south we had to take action" I replie. "I bet you did" he says sharply. "Im going to be watching you" he threatens and holds Lindseyes arm as he leads her away. its just getting dark and I pass bt Lindseys hut and decide to check in but stop as I hear her and Jake talking.
"what were you thinking, you could of been killed" he says angrly. "I was trying to end something before it started" she clarifies "yeah well looks like Roman started something". He snaps bitterly. "Jake stop this isent his fault and im fine I dont even need stitches. what is going on with you this isnt who you are". she says as her voice cracks alittle concerned for him. I look in as its silent for a moment and see him
sit next to her and his expression softens feeling guilty. "im Sorry, I let my emotions get the best of me, but I wont let anything happen to you, I love you Linds your all I have" He says with a raspy voice as if he has a lump in his throat. "I love you too, but we need to use our heads if we are going to get through this" she answers.
