I can't even imagine it. Most girls idolize movie stars, the ones they see at the theatres, but me..well, I've never been a girl, and certainly never idolized a movie star. This gang leader, though, she's the one I've always adored. I know people will say I'm odd, or weird, or something like everything else they've been saying all the time.
Josephine more than idolizes her, I think. She loves her, with every cell in her body. I hear her at night, talking in her sleep. She loves her, really does. Their love is a beautiful thing, too.
I look at the poetry that Irene wrote, and the letter she wrote. Irene loves her, she really does. And their love is so beautiful, so pretty. I wish for a love like that. The kind of love that gets written about, that is so true and pure.
I love that kind of love.
