Episode 12 Continued - Enjoying her Suffering
“Did you have to pick this outfit?” I questioned Sebastian as he tightened the corset over me, and I winced. “It’s hideous.”
“Master, don’t say such things.” He tied the strings at the back of this extremally puffy dress. “You look perfect in it!”
“It’s bright pink and is very heavy,” I said then, shifting uncomfortably. “Did you go back in time to get this from the fucking medieval era?”
“No, such a thing would be considered impossible.”
“Nothing’s impossible for you,” I said then, narrowing my eyes. “I feel like a spoiled rich brat in this.”
He smiled in response. “Well….”
I just pointed to him. “Wipe that look off your face and shut it.”
He just chuckled and stood fully, adjusting my hat more over my pigtails before brushing down my sleeves. “There. Now I believe you’re ready.”
“I’m still not fond of this,” I told him.
“I’m aware, my lord. Very much aware.”

There were so many people in this crowd. Why were there so many people?
“Ready, set, action!” Sam called.
Sebastian just raised a tall, thin paper, and I read it.
“Oh, care thee of my haste and cower in thine corner! For I am the princess of Lord Borner!”
My brows drew together.
Hold on… what?
Sebastian smiled and shifted papers.
“My senses are tingling and so is my pride! I am one of a kind, ready for any guy!”
Hold on… WHAT?
He turned to a new page, smile widening.
“My confidence wears thin, and my soul remains crushed! I belong to you, my lovely crush! I am lowly, you are mighty. I am yours as you are mine. I cannot help but want to be fine! With you under me, hiding in the covers, singing your song of a truly experienced lover!”
My cheeks heated in embarrassment, and I glared at him.
He started lightly chuckling, turning pages.
Goddamn it. He chose this on purpose, didn’t he?
He’s enjoying this.
“Careful to farewell, under my hell,” I said then, cheeks burning brighter, “crazed for your eyes, I only cannot lie! Please me and tease me,” I shivered then, “curse against my words, hold me and mold me, into your worm.”
Sebastian started covering his mouth then, quietly chuckling.
“Kiss me and miss me!” I said, embarrassment rattling through me. “You’re forever mine! Save me from this cave and make me feel fine!”
I glared harder at him, watching his body shake with each snicker.
He pulled another paper out, making me glare when I read the final words. “Under the covers, you’re breath against my skin. Save me from fate, because it’s my turn.”
The lights flicked on then, and the crowd of workers cheered, making my cheeks burn brighter as embarrassment flooded through me.
I was going to kill him.
Yes.
I stepped carefully off the stage then, gritting my teeth.
“Great job, young Yumi!” Sam said then, lightly clapping his hands. “That was phenomenal!”
“It truly was,” Sebastian said then, closing his eyes as he smiled.
I glared harder.
Asshole.
I grumbled angrily under my breath when he remained smiling.
“Such a good actor you are,” Sebastian said then, chuckling. “Very good indeed. I almost believed everything you said would come true.”
I glared harder, eyes sharpening. “You did this on purpose, you menace.”
He just kept the smile, eyes still closed.
“You’re missing one thing, though,” Sam said then, making me glance over at him.
“Oh?” I said then, deciding to play the ‘nice girl’ act now. “What am I missing?”
He just gazed down. “A smile.”
I stared at him then, lips parted as I hoped he wasn’t serious.
“Come, now!” he said, laughing. “All audiences love a little smile. Come on now, do it!”
Sebastian covered his mouth, snickering again.
“A… smile?” I said then, laughing nervously. “I don’t really smile as often.”
“Everyone smiles!” he replied. “Don’t be silly!”
“But I haven’t in a while, and it’s really not my thing.”
“Everybody needs a smile,” Sam uttered then. “Smile! Smile!”
I clenched my teeth, entire body shaking in annoyance.
“Smile, Yumi! Smilllle!”
I then clenched my jaw, mustering enough courage to not lash out right now.
Sebastian was still snickering.
“Lips curl, smile! Come, now!”
I wanted to scream.
Shit, I should just get this over with.
I then shot my head up, closing my eyes kindly as a soft, childish glow spread across my face, and a large, happy smile covered my angry expression.
I could almost feel the sparkles surrounding me because I looked so elated.
The entire room seemed to silence, and I parted my eyes to find the staff staring at me with glistening eyes.
“She’s sooooo cute!” a girl said. “Oh, my God! Can we keep her?”
“Adorable!” another one said, wiping a tear away from her eye.
“Such innocence…” said another. “Such purity.”
My brow twitched.
I was not innocent. I watched countless people die. I was definitely not innocent.
“Indeed, she is adorable,” Sebastian said then, snickering.
I kept the child-like smile and sent him a warning look.
He covered his mouth and cleared his throat but was clearly still laughing.
“They all like the Yumi girl!” Sam said then, waving his hands happily. “Yumi, Sebastian, welcome to our team!”
The entire audience cheered.
