Episode 18 Continued - Little Spy
“Master,” I said as she took a bite of her eggs, reading the newspaper, “may I ask why you were sleeping in my bed last night?”
She dropped the newspaper and sent me a look. “Because I was tired and I didn’t know the direction of my bedroom.”
I smiled at her horrible attempt at a lie. “Really? So you didn’t notice yourself going down two sets of stairs and then down the hall, specifically to my bedroom?”
She glared.
“You could’ve entered Carter’s, or Cammie’s, or Scarlet’s, but you sought fit to enter mine out of random circumstances?” I said then, smile widening. “Especially when you spied on me all night because you were lonely and wanted my presence?”
She looked back down at her paper. “I don’t appreciate you accusing me of things, Sebastian.”
I closed my eyes and smiled. “I do apologize, but I can’t help but mention that you have a massive amount of confidence, but you’re very adorable, my lord. You’re like a small little bunny that wants to be held.”
She lowered the paper and sent me a warning look.
“But my reasoning is,” I continued, “I have very a high suspicion that you were feeling very needy last night, and I was busy, so you slept in my bed because it smelled like me.”
She just dropped the newspaper, giving me a very sharp glare. “Your comments are infuriating. Shut it, Sebastian. That’s an order.”
I just parted my eyes and bowed. “At once, my lord.”
She grumbled in annoyance and kept reading her newspaper.
“Sebbbbbbbbbassssstiiiiiiannnn!” Scarlet said, running out from the hallway. “Heeeeeeeeeelp!”
I sighed and gazed up. “What did you do now?”
She just waved her hands quickly. “Maddox blew up the kitchen!”
“Again?” I said, brows arching. “That’s the sixth time this week.”
Yumi just smiled, sipping her tea lightly. “Better get on with it, Sebastian.”
I looked down at her in annoyance. “You enjoy my misery, don’t you, master?”
“I would be lying if I said no.” She gazed up at me in amusement.
I just sighed and looked over at Scarlet. “I swear you hired these children just to inconvenience me, my lord.”
She just laughed silently.
I stepped over to Scarlet. “Alright, show me to the mess.”
