Episode 18 Continued - Little Spy
“Master,” Maddox said as the last two servants entered the room, “you called?”
I gazed up and nodded as Sebastian remained at my side, smiling with his eyes closed. “Indeed, I did.”
“What happened, master?” Cammie said, brows drawing together. “Did something come up?”
“As a matter of fact, it did,” I said, setting my elbows on my desk, “but if the question is if it’s good or bad, that is up to you.” I looked up at them then. “How do you four feel about a vacation?”
Cammie’s eyes widened immediately, and Scarlet squealed, jumping in elation.
“You’re shitting me,” Carter said then, and Maddox puffed his cheeks to conceal his excitement.
“Carter,” Sebastian said calmly, “what did I say about explicit language in front of our master?”
He immediately stiffened. “Shit! Fuck! Sorry….”
I had to avoid smiling. “Anyways, I assume you all are for going on vacation?”
“I love the idea!” Scarlet said, waving her hands excitedly.
“But where to, master?” Cammie said then, the only one remaining calm.
“Well,” I said, sighing as I set my cheek in my hand, “the Phantomhive family owns many businesses on land like factories for children’s toys and soaps. But, I realized, that there is no business at sea. So I thought about maybe starting a yacht line, where I can sell yachts to people.” I tapped my fingers on my desk. “Of course, I’d have to buy one first and test it out in order to completely understand the aspects of marketing yacht-line material.”
“We’re going on a ship?” Maddox said, eyes sparkling like a child. “Really, master?”
“Indeed,” I said then, gazing up with a sly smile, “I purchased a yacht for us and a few others. Sadly, the ship has others on it as well, but it is people we know, so it isn’t over-crowded.” I pursed my lips. “None of you get sea sickness, do you?”
“How can we kill with such a weakness?” all of them said at once.
I smiled then. “Of course, I apologize for doubting.”
“Alright, now that you’re told, pack your bags,” Sebastian said then, clapping his hands. “Chop, chop. We are leaving tonight.”
They all skittered from the room.
“In my opinion,” I said, sighing as my lashes lowered, “vacations sound boring. I wish something interesting were to happen. Relaxing just isn’t my thing.”
Sebastian gazed down at me and smiled, eyes glowing slightly.
