"Reagan!.... Reagan! Are you listening?" Shit, how long had I been staring out the window for?

I turn back to see Mrs burrows staring at me a little peeved.

"Sorry Mrs burrows, what did you say?" She shook her head in displeasure, "My office at home time for detention, hopefully, you heard that" oh great well done Reagan, I nodded in response.

Hometime came far too soon for my liking, everyone was rushing past me sniggering at me.

I took the long walk round to the other side of the school to await my fate, never in all my years at this school have I ever had detention.

Just as I was feeling grateful to be doing this alone peroxide walked through the door, moments later to my surprise so did Theo followed by a few others.

"Right you rowdy lot, come into the office now," Strangely Theo didn't even look at me.

Once inside we all sat at the big table, I was sat next to peroxide, all I could smell was pickled onions with a rancid undertone of lynx, I always thought something was off with her, I giggled to myself the only thing that was off was herself, literally.

"Right I want 100 lines, I will not get distracted in class, you all have 1 hr to get it all done." 

100 lines? No chance! She's joking, the most I've written in 1hr is 12 lines, I look over to see Theo hard at work, he didn't even look up to look at me, why is he acting like this, like a right douche, he knew eventually I would be with Alex, why ain't he happy for me, he was the one who said he's happy for me, just then I realized Theo was jealous! He had his girl! She would be here soon too, we were going to all hang out together.

Snap out of it Reagan! F%&k him, all you need is Alex! Noooo! I need Theo too, it's been amazing knowing I can be myself as well as fat, he loves the way I look. Ahhhhh, see, 20 minutes in, not a pissing line is written, told you this would happen.

"I will not get distracted in class again" shit the sentence don't even fit on the line, I'll be here all night! "Psst!" I look round to see peroxide breathing in my face, I could have gagged, "See loverboy ain't too happy about you being with Alex, mind you not many will be, Alex is top notch in this school and you are a heifer! I can see you getting a lot of attention but the bad kind, mind as well slit those wrists before someone does it for you for taking Alex away" she threw her head back in what sounded like a strangled laugh, Holy shit, I knew this would be the outcome, but hold up who was she to pop my bubble right now.

I was startled when the door knocked, even more, startled when I saw it was Alex, "Reagan what are you doing in here?" I shook my head in shame, "Detention!" He chuckled, "Ok baby, I'll meet you on the pitch when you're finished, I've come for Theo Miss, the coach wants to see him,' Theo looked up grinning.

"Nice one! See you later guys and dolls" and they were gone, l looked around feeling very intimidated, luckily the teacher looked up watching us again.

"Right pack up your shit, we will resume this for tomorrow."

Gathering my stuff up quickly I darted out the door before peroxide could get at me again. 

I was sure she had a lot more to say, I didn't want to hear it if I was honest.

As I got into closer view of the pitch I could just make out the football team hard at work, they always amazed me with their stamina and their butts, ahhhh twinge! Finally, I sat down watching 16 lads almost throwing themselves at each other, when did football become a contact sport? I thought that was rugby, it was quite a sexual thing watching them. 

They were fighting hard for control over this ball, almost like their life depended on it, but no matter how close they came to taking control it was snatched from them, never have I seen them have difficulty, it was pretty amusing.

Theo was darting in and out of the lads with this ball with such grace and ease, now I see why Ty is interested in him playing, by the coaches face so was he.

I had now been watching for a good fifteen minutes and still, none of them had been able to retrieve it, the whistle blew just in time, I could see the relief on all their faces.

"Hey sis I hear you been naughty today? Ty took a big guzzle from his water bottle, I shook my head in refusal.

"No, I was daydreaming," Ty spat his water out in a fit of laughter. "Nice one sis, wonder what you were dreaming of" I punched his arm, "None of your damn business Tyson George!" He sat next to me chuckling to himself.

"Who's up for celebrating I got in," Ty jumped up man hugging Theo, I didn't see the others creeping up on us, I looked straight at Theo smiling, this was great news, "Nice one man! Welcome to the team," each and every one of them welcomed him with open arms, rightfully so, he was going to be a great asset to the football team.

Cal hugged his cousin "Nice work man! I got beers back at ours let's go celebrate, parties at my house," his eyes landed on me.

"I got homework! Maybe another time" Cal looked a little sad but nodded, anyway, I doubt Theo would want me there now, Alex looked at me a little concerned, "I'll drive Reagan home see you guys in a bit," Ty nodded.

On the way home, Alex held my hand "What's wrong? Have I done something to upset you?" I looked out the window, "No it's not you, it's just things that peroxide said whilst I was in detention," Alex pulled into a side road turning right round to face me, "What did she say? I want to know," he sounded desperate to find out.

I turned to look at him, his eyes were hard, slightly angry.

"She said you shouldn't be with me, that it's not going to go down well with other people if I think I get bullied now I'm going to get bullied worse because you are top notch and I'm just a heifer."

Alex shook his head "Stupid bitch, she's just jealous because I knocked her back 2 months ago, I'm nothing special Reagan I'm just me and your just you, we're perfect for each other," I smiled. 

Alex was right it was all down to jealousy, peroxide, Theo, Liv, they were all jealous. 

"If you don't want to go out with me I will understand, I don't want to make things harder for you," I squeezed Alex's hand.

"No way, you had me from hello, I've waited my whole life to have a boyfriend like you," Alex pulled me to his chest kissing my head. 

"Thank f%&k for that, I thought you were dumping me," I couldn't help but laugh, how the hell would I know how to dump, I've never had a guy to dump.

"One day I am going to get inside that head of yours," he chuckled before kissing my lips gently.
