"What would you like to order?" I gaze up to see a young lady dressed all in black carrying a notepad wearing thick-rimmed glasses she was looking down at cal if you had a magnifying glass I'm sure you would see the beads of sweat forming on her brow she was definitely a fan, Cal looked up at her then he looked over to me, "What do you, fancy babe?" Hallelujah, he totally rejected her interest in him I was quite chuffed right now.

"I'll have the chicken stack skin fries with coleslaw, can I also get a cherry coke please," she turned back to Cal he smiled at me, "I'll have a blue rump with new potatoes a side of peas, I'll also get a cherry coke thanks."

When the waitress walked away I chuckled, "I think she liked you," Cal laughed, "Well that's a problem because I like you, Rea," he leant across the table to hold my hand, I blushed again.

Looking back up I smiled, "I like you too, I just don't know if I can take that chance, Cal, I don't want to be the reason people look at you differently," he shook his head at me, "I'm a big boy babe, I don't give a shit about peoples opinions, what I do give a shit about is you worrying what people think, maybe it's your time to be happy Rea, fuck others I could make you happy," 

"Here we go two cherry cokes, food won't be long," I hadn't even noticed her approaching till her long slender arm invaded my view as she sat the glasses down in front of us she turned around dramatically swaying her hips side to side as she walked away back into the kitchen, that was to put on, nevertheless I was kinda glad for the distraction I look back at Cal to see him gazing off into space, "Penny for your thoughts," he blinked returning his gaze to me. 

"I don't think you would want to know what I'm thinking right now trust me, I can see how hard this is for you, I'll make it worse."

My eyebrows furrowed in confusion as I watched Cal bite his bottom lip, I tugged on his hand, "Just tell me I do want to know," his Adam's apple started bobbing as he swallowed hard. "Ok if you wanna know I'll tell you, I want to kiss you right here right now to show you just how serious I am about this, about you, that I'm not just some lovesick teenager because, to be honest Rea I've never been in love, I don't know what it's like but I want to know, I just feel like the only person I want to do that with is you! I'm not like the rest at school, I'm 20 in 5weeks time I don't have the same childish dreams as they do, all I know is I want you! I just don't know if you realise that." 

I was absolutely gobsmacked, I was gulping at air that seemed like it was so thin I couldn't breathe my throat dried up so I gulped down my soda trying to quench it after a few quiet moments once I felt I could speak again I nodded at Cal, "I do know,   but I also know I want you too! I can't say I ain't childish though because I am, I have many dreams very vivid dreams too," I winced at that part, Cal crackled,  I giggled back at him.

Cal's eyes lit up, "Then give us or even me a chance," I so wanted to every muscle in my mouth was arguing with me to say yes.

"Here we go," my eyes snapped up at the waitress how convenient was that just at the good part she bloody butts in.

Dinner was good the chicken was cooked to perfection it was smothered in bbq sauce it was yummy, Cals, on the other hand, looked like his steak was still alive mooing on his plate, "It looks worse than it tastes it's actually the best way to have it I don't like tough meat, here taste it," he cut a piece off moving the fork towards me.

I was hesitant definitely, I don't really like tasting anything new buy I did pulling the meat from the fork using my teeth biting down I was pleasantly surprised it was like eating velvet, the taste was amazing yet it tasted cooked it was different definitely, "mmmm yeah, it's really good."

Cal groaned slightly looking uncomfortable slightly, he shuffled in his seat before eating.

"You said on the phone you want us to get to know one another, what do you wanna know?" I quizzed Cal, he looked up smiling at me nodding complacently.

"Your bro brags about you all the time so I feel like I know you already, but I want to know more like what's your favourite memory, cereal, foods, place, number, colour that kind of thing," he wanted to know personal stuff about me it was kinda nice because no one has ever wanted to know about things that mattered to me, people would say this was progress, so after swallowing my food I told him everything he wanted to know, we answered questions back and forth for the next hour, I got to find out things about Cal that id always wanted to know like how he always moisturises his body before bed or his favourite colour has been chocolate brown since he met me or he has a lucky ticket he kisses before each game I even got to know his dreams he was ambitious but that didn't faze me I kinda already knew that.

I tried to pay for dinner as Cal had paid for everything else but again he wouldn't let, me saying something about that's not how he rolls I laughed at that because I definitely would love to find out how he rolls...hint hint.

As we exited the restaurant the first thing that hit me was the warmth of the sun penetrating my skin, it had certainly gotten warmer, the bright blue sky had no clouds anywhere, the sun shone down on the beach making the sand and pebbles glisten like diamonds it was breathtaking.

I took everything in as I leant against the railings looking down on the many people all lazing about on this fine day.

"Wanna go for a walk along the beach before we head home?'

I looked at him sadly flashing him my puppy dog eyes at him.

He pulled me into his arms, "what's wrong baby?" I kissed his chest through his shirt, his body tensed underneath me, suddenly he scooped my chin up with his fingers to look at him, I looked up to see his jaw clenched slightly, "Tell me, Rea," he quizzed me as his body relaxed.

My body shivered, my lips trembled to be so close to him.

"Nothings wrong, I just don't wanna go home, I...errrrm...I... wanna stay like this with you.

My body felt like it was gonna explode with the amount of butterfly I had going on, he ignited a feeling in me that I didn't know about, how would I, this whole date was leading up to this I knew that much was true so I took the opportunity of taking the initiative, besides I couldn't take it any more, standing up on tiptoes I pressed my lips to his cheek, wait what.....his cheek! Wtf Rea, oh god why oh why, luckily my prayers were answered as perfect lips smashed into mine, they kissed me hungrily but precise at the same time, it was like every fibre of my body were raging hormones, Niagra falls was gonna happen at some point if Cal keeps kissing me like this, it was amazing, even better than.....no don't think about him, I leaned in against him Cal his hand cupped my cheek as his other hand pulled me even closer to his body, his tongue brushed against mine basically asking to taste me, this really was happening the guy I've had a crush on since forever is kissing me oh damn, I slowly parted my lips slightly allowing Cal's tongue to dipp in playing with mine I moaned against his lips, that's when I felt it, something prodded against me, ooooops.

Breaking the kiss I looked up to see Cal forester blushing he knew what happened too, he looked towards the beach embarrassed. "wanna go for a walk?" I nodded.

Cal entwined our fingers as he pulled me towards to stairs down to the beach front, we walked down to the sea both of us  removed our shoes to paddle in the water it was so cold as it slapped up against our legs it defrnaitly cooled me down somewhat, it had been an amazing day but we both knew it was time to make our way home.

The drive home was a little less vocal I think we were both kinda reveling on that kiss, today had been by far one of my best.
