Cal looked embarrassed as he gazed at my shocked face.
"Rea we don't have to do anything about what I told you," Cal kissed my forehead.
"It's not that Cal, it's just your right it makes it hard because I didn't know anything about how you feel, so I went ahead and chose Alex what will people think of it, ohhhh yeah there goes the hoe who goes through the football team whos next," It really pissed me off that society was so shallow about this kind of things but guys can go through a whole damn school and be classed as a hero.
"Since when had Reagan Charles ever gave a shit of what people thought, you have overcome so much no matter how much your bro trying to protect you from them, you stand up to them, so who gives a shit about what they say to this....but like I said I'm just glad I've finally told you."
Cal all but whispered in my ear.
I could tell Cal was kinda upset about it because he got up to leave but before he could leave I grabbed his wrist he looked down at me, I said nothing I just snuggled into him feeling his body tense then relax, his breath fanned across my neck it made me quiver in the most sexual way ever, he was right here, all those times I wanted this to happen over the years yet all I kept thinking about was everyone else, what they would think, what they would say, would peroxide ruin this too ugh I need to stop thinking right now.
"What you thinking about down there?" he chuckled, I looked up to see his blue eyes gazing into mine his warm breath fanning my face he was inches away oh hell this was torture, I cleared my throat before replying.
"Nothing at all I'm gonna go make breakfast I eased away heading to the bathroom facepalming myself on the way.
Once I closed the bathroom door I slid down it, realising what an absolute idiot I was, I had cal right where I wanted him his face so close to mine, I could almost breathe the same air as him jeez Rea, way to go! top marks for being a right loser, floor just swallow me and replace me with a double who knows what to do with her damn self, I was useless.
I finally pulled myself together before heading downstairs to a kitchen full of rowdy teenagers, I set out to make us all breakfast before our long journey home.
All the way home I sat near the back with Tyler, he knew something was wrong cause I kept seeing him out the corner of my eyes glancing my way he moved closer pulling my legs up into his lap like he always did.
"Somethings up with you, your normally so bubbly and gobby Rea," I chuckled but he was right it's almost like I've gone in on myself and I was struggling to revive the old me.
I nodded at him, "I think your right Tyler, I began from the beginning, he listened to every word without interrupting this is why he and Jay were the best.
" So if your sister had a boyfriend and they broke up would you go out with him after her?" I queried, he outright laughed at me, "Rea me and Jay share everything so that's without saying but I get your predicament, maybe Ty is right though maybe it is because Cal really likes you, do you like him?" he laughed again, "No actually you don't have to tell me I know that answer already, it's written all over your face, like always you wear your heart on your sleeve, you always have."
He was right as always I always did, I reckon it's why I'm such an easy target for people.
I kissed his cheek thanking him, "You go get your man Rea, he deserves a real woman, not some waif-like your sister, there ain't no harm in seeing what happens." he looked over towards Ty whispering even quieter this time, "Do you think Ty will end up with Jay?" I shook my head, "TBH I'm not really sure, he's bisexual keep it on the low though not many know that, maybe he might try that out now who knows," Ty's eyes lit up like a Christmas tree, oh god I know that look, before saying anything else he fist pumped the air, "Jay, here I come, share or loose ya man," we were in guffaw of laughter.

I closed my eyes moments later, soon after I did we were pulling up outside our house, everyone else had been dropped off, shit I'd slept the whole way home.
"Dad, Dad? Were home."
The aromas of home cooking wafted up my nose sending my tummy wild in anticipation, I walked into the kitchen to see my dad standing at the table with a banner above his head saying, Happy, birthday.
"Surprise now I hope your hungry I had to ask little old Mrs Myers from across the street to help, "I chuckled as I closed the gap to hug my dad.
" Dad this is amazing I'm starting!" but then again when would i ever give up the chance of cake.
