I went to his room and knocked on his door. Only to be replied with silence.
No response. Idiot; must be listening to loud music with his headphones…
“Hey Emmett, you in there? Come out, I wanna talk to you,” I shouted all the while knocking at his door.
[What the…?! Yup the J in Emmett’s name is for Johnson.]
“What is it?” he asked. I was sure he’d help. He never said no to me.
“Well, I want you to put up a little act for me. I want to give payback to a certain boy,” I said.
“Who is he,” he asked. “You probably don’t know him, his name is Jason,” I said. As soon as I said that, he said, “Consider it done with extreme pleasure,” and went back into his room. That went easier than I expected.
Janet’s P. O. V:
I was walking towards the cafeteria with Lindsey, if you remember, yeah the one who fought with me. We made up and had actually become besties. She pointed to a girl sitting outside the cafeteria and asked, “Is that Kelly?” I looked at the direction to where she was pointing to and yes it was Kelly. What was she doing at school when she was a student in another university? Lindsey offered to buy my lunch and wait while I went to talk to Kelly.
“Uh, hey Kelly,” I called out and she turned to me with a smile. But as soon as she saw my face, her smile vanished.
“Um… Do I know you?” she asked politely.
WHAT ON EARTH WAS HAPPENING???
“Oh, come on, stop playing games,” I teased in an attempt to find out if it was just a prank or not.
“What? I really don’t know you miss. You must have mistaken me for someone else,” she replied, still smiling.
Okay. This is definitely not some game.
“Look, my name is Janet and you do know me. Even in the last week we met and talked. What are you doing here in your school uniform?” I asked.
“What are you talking about? I have to come here in my uniform,” she said, looking confused. I started to lose my temper.
“What? Why on earth do you possibly need to come to the school, wearing the school uniform when it has been more than a year since you graduated from here?” I asked in an irritated tone.
“Hey, you’re the one who’s talking nonsense right now. I don’t know what your problem is. I have to wear this till I graduate. I’ll be going now. Jason will be waiting for me at the movie room,” she replied.
What is going on here?!
“No, we don’t have the movie club today and how come you remember Jason and the movie club?” I snapped.
“I obviously know all that cause Jason and I are the club leaders. But when did you become a member?” she asked back.
“Ah, just leave it. I’ll just go and inform him that you’ve come. Wait in the infirmary, no questions asked. You remember at least where the infirmary is, don’t you?” I asked to which she just nodded and went in the direction of the infirmary and I went right away in search of Jason.
Emily’s P. O. V:
Jason came to my room during lunch. Out of the blue he asked, “Shall we go out tonight, like a date?” “Nope, we have to take things slowly. Going out as lovers is out of the question,” I said. “Ah, come on…” he whined. I gave a hard whack on his head to silence him.
After a while of silence, he spoke again. “Do you realise just how hard this is for me to stand close to you yet unable to give you a loving smile or touch here in school or hold you and kiss you outside the campus?” That was pretty sad to hear.
“Alright…” I trailed off, but before I could say anything, he asked, “That means you’re okay with it?” and without giving me time to react, leaned in to kiss me!
I’ve had enough of this!
I gave him a brutal kick to the area where the sun doesn’t shine on. “I was talking about the smiles and hands, SMILES AND HANDS, got it?” I asked. “Aah, uh, argh, yea…h, got… it,” he replied lying coiled on the floor. He seemed to be in too much pain making me regret my rash actions.
“So you think you can walk?” I asked Jason who was still crying in pain. “Uh, yeah, I think so…” he trailed off. That got me even more worried. I went outside my cabin and looked around the staff room. Most of the other staff members had gone to visit a colleague's daughter who had been hospitalised because of an accident. I however wasn't in good terms with that teacher so I stayed behind. So as lucky as I was, the staff room was empty at that time.
Locking my cabin door just to be sure, I crouched on the floor next to him. “Is it that bad?” I asked and he just nodded in reply with his eyes tightly closed. “Alright, c'mere, come to me,” I said wrapping my arms around him and helping him up. I made him sit on my table and stood there in silence, ashamed of having caused him so much pain.
“Look, Jason, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to do so. It was just that I got alarmed by your swift actions that I snapped,” I apologised, hugging him softly. I released my arms and looked at his face intently. Agony was evident in his eyes.
Well, I guess it can't be helped.
Thus, with a war starting in my mind, I held his face in my hands, leaned towards him and planted a short, quick kiss on his lips. My actions took him completely by surprise but not for long. I felt his hands snaking up my back and pulling me to him tightly.
I gave in to my desires once and for all. Moving my hands from his face to the back of his head, I smashed my lips to his, pushing myself to his body so as to close every possible gap between us. Our hands were no longer in our control and were roaming freely on each other's back. And our tongues, well that was a different story altogether. They were practically knitting themselves together; such was the closeness between us.
Like the sneakiest of serpents, his hands found their way under my overcoat and eventually under my shirt. Being a complete novice when it came to men, each and every movement of his hands on my skin set a new fire. Jason got down from the table and in one quick movement, he lifted me in his arms and continued kissing me. I did not slack off either and wrapped my legs around his waist and sat comfortably.
Jason pushed me against the cabin wall never once letting go of my lips and kept pressing his body against mine. My hair was getting dishevelled, my breathing was ragged beyond imagination and I was sweating but I couldn’t care less. Jason was more or less in the same state too. We were completely swamped by lust laced with love.

Our steamy kiss-a-thon was interrupted, much to my dismay, by someone searching for Jason and calling his name loudly. Jason and I quickly came down from our elated states. I opened my cabin door and Jason went out into the still-empty staff room just in time to be spotted by Janet whom I guessed was the one looking for Jason.
“Jason! Come here, quick!” yelled Janet running towards Jason. “What is it?” he asked. “Kelly is here. There’s something strange about her. She is in the nurses’ office now,” she said and turned around to leave but stalled for a little bit till Jason went outside. She came up to me glaring her hatred out the whole time and when she came face to face with me, she simply smirked.
“What are you smirking for?” I asked, confused. She simply opened my cabin door, waved her hand from the inside and pointed to it from the outside. I froze as I realised it.
“I know that I’ve been really disrespectful towards you and I’m really sorry for that. But the fact that I respect you doesn’t mean that you’re my favourite teacher or something. In fact, I’m utterly disappointed with your childish behaviour.
You really thought that frosted glass was enough? I saw the shadows of everything you guys did. At first, I thought of waiting till you finished but you seemed to have no plans of ending that make out session, did you? Anyway, as much as I don’t want to entertain you two getting together, I’ll give you one piece of advice. Be more careful when you’re at school. Better yet, resist your urges because after all I’m pretty sure that you guys get lots of chances to kiss and cuddle at home,” she said.
I mentally thanked God for Janet’s house being away from our apartment. What she just said was absolutely true. Ever since the day Jason kissed me for the first time and told me that he loved me, we often shared small kisses during brief lonely moments when I paid visits to his house to coach him in math even though I wasn’t sure of my feelings. In case his aunt was away, the kisses weren’t that small. There were times when we had even fallen asleep, hugging each other. Luckily, neither his aunt nor his dad came home early so I escaped.
And after I confessed to him five days ago, I upped the game and made a hyper-daring move. The next day, at his house, I sat too close to him while tutoring him, holding his hand in front of his aunt. I had no idea what came over me but I was sure there was no turning back. To my utter surprise, Ms Jennifer just smirked and said, “Did you really think that I was oblivious to your relationship, Emily? Just go ahead and kiss him already!” and left us flabbergasted with her unusual open-mindedness. And that let all the emotions I kept inside me, come erupting out. After Jason’s lesson was over, it was kiss, cuddle, kiss again and cuddle again till I got a call from my sister calling me over for dinner. I bade a sad adieu to Jason and left – yes, I became that obsessed with him! So to put it in plain English, whenever Mr Jacob was not home, which was all the time, Jason and I were together because his aunt didn’t mind one bit.
“For now, let’s put that aside and see how Kelly’s doing,” Janet continued, snapping me out of my thoughts and we went to the infirmary where we saw Kelly sitting in the observation room and saw the doctor saying something to Jason, which, judging by the look on his face, wasn’t good news.
