So much happened in such a short amount of time and now I'm planning a date for today. We also got to talk a lot and figure things out none of it was easy for us but we will make it through I'm sure of it. And the girls have a track race coming up with a nearby school I'm excited to see them flourish. Can't say it doesn't hurt knowing I'll never get my chance to run like them but at least I can prepare them to the best of my ability. They can bring us a win.

After finishing up and sending everyone home I headed back home today was an exciting day for me. It's been a while since we have gone out for a date with so much happening in life. I still have to deal with my mother or I should say face her but not today, today is her day. After entering the house we ended up greeting each other with a hug and kiss but I couldn't help her dress. She was a tomboy through and through but when she put on a dress it was perfection. Since I couldn't wait any longer I took her hand leading her outside. The plan was something simple a visit to the nearby foster event going on.

Gina had a soft side for kids and we talked about adopting many times, about what we would want. We often agreed in some ways but she wanted a girl like me who could run as fast as me, while I wanted a boy who could be stronger than me to protect her. These events are held often but the orphanage is struggling so they are trying to support the home with these attraction events. I'm one of the benefactors to them and I try to pay them a visit bringing them things they would need.

Gina often came with me and we have done what we could to keep them going. Abigail is the one most attached to Gina she's a good kid who often wants to learn dancing. I tried to help her but my dancing is horrible.

Today was a surprise donation I managed to arrange for a dance instructor as well as a small carnival. It drew people in and that was enough for me, it's hard growing up without parents. All I can do is fill the void but it breaks my heart.

Gina couldn't help but giggle as we both got pulled into the dance. She has gotten better I can see how happy this makes her but I can also see Gina's happiness. Eventually, Abigail took off to see the carnival show while Gina and I walked around interacting with everyone till we found Miss Tanya. She was the person in charge and mostly ran everything around here.

Before I could respond Tanya was pulled off to the side and I'm left with a grinning Gina. I decided to take her around to play some of the games and try some of the food, she was enjoying herself so I think the date was a success. I noticed how often she looked towards Abigail, she would be a great mother I just wish I could give that to her. I don't want my past to affect anything though since it already has taken away my love for running. We spent the rest of the date helping clean up and put things away, and of course, Gina had to say goodbye to Abigail. I was left with talking to Tanya.

I could only smile at her words I know she and Gina are right but I have something keeping me down. I feel like I don't deserve most of what I have now but it's also all anyone could ask for. That look Gina gets when she has to say goodbye to Abigail is painful to see. On our way home Gina showed me some pictures Abigail gave her. I tried not to cry but that's difficult to do lately, she drew a picture of Gina me, and Herself as a family. The one thing every child dreams of having, I leaned over to kiss her cheek whispering softly in response.

It was a promise more than anything because I wanted that for us. I got her to smile but deep down she doesn't want to rush things similar to me, but how long do we tread slowly. If we are discussing adopting and having a kid does that mean she also thinks of a wedding. At the thought of her in a wedding dress, I couldn't help but smile she would be the perfect wife and mother. Could I give that to her I wonder.
